Thanks For Being a Fan

October 19, 2008

Thanks so much for playing along and being a fan of Joy the Baker.  All your love on Facebook and Twitter really means a lot to me.

I’m cookin’ up another post for you.  It’s going to be a winner.

In the meantime, enjoy this picture of a slide of my parents at their wedding reception.  You’ve got wedding cake, my Dad’s afro and my Mom’s seventies wedding dress.  What more could you want?  Rhetorical question.

That’s an awesome photo! I wonder if our photos today will “scream” their era in the same photos from the seventies do… seems unlikely!

Anyway, thanks for all the sourdough posts! I’ve got my own starter just about ready to go now and was wondering if you might be making anything else with yours? I’d like to do a bread, but I’m little nervous to get started. There’s just an overwhelming amount of info and variations out there. Any simple start would be much appreciated :)

…and the card attached would say “thank you for being a friend.” I love the Golden Girls :)

I’m new to your blog (found you right around the time you started the sourdough series) but its definitely one of my favorites. You rock!

I love this picture. Very cool! hehe! I’ve found that I’m visiting your blog when I’m feeling blah and need some cheering up. You have so many awesome recipes and are a lot of fun to read. I’m ever grateful to my husband for finding your page! I might just have to make him the apple crisp to show my appreciation. =)

Thanks for sharing your recipes. I tried you biscotti recipe for my dad and he loved them!
I was wondering if you could provide the link to the ice cream with liner tutorial. It’s not working correctly and I’m dying to try those for my hubby!
