Happy New Year!

December 31, 2008

San Francisco

Tonight, from San Francisco, I’m raising my glass to one heck of a memorable year.

There have been highs and lows, lots of learning, some tears and plenty of beauty.

Loads of goodies have come out of my oven.  Photos have filled the memory of my computer, and silly stories have flowed out onto the Internet.

Here we are at the end and at the beginning.  Like a hop, skip and quick restart.

Clean Your Plate Pancakes

Here’s to Dad’s who make pancakes.

a cookie we can believe in.

Here’s to history in the works.

You Can Do It Apple Pie

Here’s to Apple Pie

more doughnuts please

and doughnuts hunts.

Here’s to a big, bright, sweet and happy future.

Happy New Year!

I still haven’t made your apple pie, and I’m sad about that. However, I have a slew of apples waiting to be consumed somehow, AND I have an empty house and an equally empty afternoon to fill. Hmmm… apple pie to bring in the new year? Definitely.

Isn’t San Francisco gorgeous? I am so glad I can be there in less than 2 hours. I think everyone should see it on a perfect indian summer day. I have enjoyed your baking these past few months that I have been involved in blogging. Be blessed this new year.

Hey! It seems I’m a little late for a happy new year :) however, I did see that you live in San Francisco – me too! I just moved here actually and I have really gotten into baking- it would be great to get a group together and bake sometime. Let me know!
