Mmmm.... we are in the process of eating up what is in the house before we (hopefully) move house in a couple of weeks. Things that we have in abundance - polenta and beans (possibly a tin of every variety it seems!) so this will be fab!
Joy - you are awesome.

Made this last night and it was wonderful! My dh complained that it didn't have any meat in it so tonight I am probably going to add some hot italian sausage. Thank you so much for coming up with such a comforting meal :D

I'm slowly but surely working my way through a bunch of your recipes and I have to say, I am always tickled pink. We had a rainy Saturday and I decided to tackle this. Because I'm me, I played around with it, but it's really delicious and thank you!

We made this for dinner tonight and it was supremely delicious. I am already looking forward to leftovers. This was my first time using dried beans, but I did the crock pot method and it was delightfully easy. We used a different bean as we didn't find Borlottis, but no big deal. Savory perfection. Plus which, you've helped me discover a new beloved kitchen smell; fennel, onions and garlic sizzling in butter. Mmmmmmm..... From the moment this aroma hit my nostrils I knew I was going to LOVE this dish. Many thanks!

This is terrific looking. I'm putting these ingredients on my shopping list. I'm trying to add more beans to our diet as we cut way back on red meat.
