I had seen this post a couple of months ago but forgot to comment…
These are simply called “Choco-bananos” in Guatemala, where I´m from, (banano is the word for banana in spanish), and they´re made with whole bananas; they´re quite a tipical dessert here, and if we don´t buyan ice cream, then we definitively buy a choco-banano for the hot weather…

Hi Joy!
I made these the other day and they turned out great! I was doing a test run for my family–I will be making them for a friend’s bachelorette party. I thought the phalic resemblance would be quite appropriate ;0) Thanks for posting the recipe!!

One quick question, I was thinking of drizzling white chocolate over the semi sweet chocolate for a variation. For some reason the white chocolate didn’t melt like the semi sweet. Would you have any idea why? Any tips are greatly appreciated!!
