Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from me to you.

I hope Santa brings you peace and love, a KitchenAid mixer and a dishwasher… and a kitten.

Merry Christmas

Thank you for being all up in my area this year.  I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you come to this little place and say nice things… everyday.  You people are truly lovely.

See this face?  This face needs a nap for Christmas… and a kitten.  That would be amazing.

Merry Christmas.  Happy Holidays.  Watch out for eggnog… it’ll getcha!

Merry Christmas to you too, Joy! I hope you have a lovely and relaxed holiday.

Sadly no KitchenAid mixer, dishwasher or kitten for me this year, but there’s always hoping for next.. And peace and love were definitely present at least.

Merry Christmas Joy! Thanks for taking all the time and effort to create and maintain this blog. I think you have set the standard on how food blogs should be created. So happy that I found it. This Pittsburgher is better because of it.

I wish you peace+love, happiness, and a very ample supply of ingredients, along with the kitten, mixer and dishwasher.

Santa did indeed bring me a KitchenAid mixer this year, but I received it early, in order to help with the making of yummy Christmas goodies.
I hope that you got a nap, a kitten, and a day filled with love and laughter.

Joy, Merry Christmas! I so enjoy your blog, you have inspired me to get back to baking and I have shared your site with my daughter and daughter-in-law. I lovingly use my 35+ year old Kitchen Aid – my mother-in-law gave it to me when she got too old to bake. I made your pumpkin pie bars for several functions and they were loved by all! Looking forward to more recipes in the new year!

Okay, I’m not a big “commenter” because I feel like my silly comments merge into a mass of other adoring fans… but its Christmas, I’m feeling nostalgic. :) I’m a huge fan and like many others, just love you to pieces. How do so many people love the author of a blog they’ve never met?? Because of the way you share yourself with us. So really – thank you, very much for that.

And another reason, I decide to write a comment on this particular day? I open the webpage and I see your “Peace” ornament… the same ornament I have on my tree. :) Love it. Just another reason I adore you Joy the Baker!

Merry Christmas to you! May God richly bless you with His love this year!

From another adoring fan, :)
Kelly

Joy! I didn’t ask for a kitchenaid this year, but I was definitely aching for one and showed my mom your blog post this morning wishing us peace, love and a kitchenaid.
And to my surprise, my last present under the tree was a big heavy box, and inside was a beautiful shiny artisan kitchenaid mixer!!! So of course I thought of you and am hoping you are having a wonderful christmas.
Our house is packed to the gills with grandmas and aunts and uncles, and I couldn’t be happier. (We spontaneously started singing “let it snow” while eating waffles this morning, because it rained all day yesterday and our yard is flooded, but then all of a sudden big snowflakes started falling!)
I’m wishing all the best to you and your family and all the other joy the baker readers out there. Merry christmas and much love to everyone!

I MADE IT I MADE IT I MADE IT
JOY JOY JOY
CRUNCHY HEARTY BUT NOT TO SWEET
I USED TOASTED PECANS AND IT WAS PERFECT.
I GOT MY DREAM MIXER FOR CHRISTMAS. BRIGHT RED HEAVY DUTY KITCHENAID WITH THE THE DROP DOWN BOWL TO REPLACE MY OLD BLUE KITCHEAID(THAT REALLY DIDNT NEED REPLACING.) I ALMOST CRIED WHEN I WAS PACKING MY BLUE KITCHEDAID UP. I WAS THINKING OF ALL THE BAKED GOODS I MADE AND FED TO PEOPLE THAT I LOVE. ALL THE HAPPY MEMORIES AND MEALS I HAD SHARED. IT WAS THE FIRST EXPENSIVE THING I EVER BOUGHT FOR MYSELF. I PACKED IT UP AND WILL SAVE IT TO GIVE TO MY DAUGHTER WHEN SHE MOVES OUT.
