Want to have breakfast with me?
Better yet, want to make breakfast with me!?
Heck yea friend! Me and you and eighteen other brand new friends… making breakfast, drinking coffee, laughing, talking trash. It’ll be great!
Here are the details:
Ramekins, Sonoma
California
Sunday, February 21st from 11am-2pm
Hands on breakfast baking course. I’m teaching. Keep in mind that this could get both awkward and silly.
Cost: $85… which includes breakfast and laughs and me smiling all up in your face.
Space: very limited.
Head on over to Ramekins to sign up! Select Cooking Classes then Class List. My class is on the second page of the Class List.
Come on! Let’s make breakfast together! I’d love to see your smiling face.
Oooh! Here’s a little update from Yvette at Ramekins:

This sounds like so much fun! I showed this to my husband and his response was… we should do something like that for vacation. Hopefully you will do more of these!
Catherine
Hi joy! Are there classes for younger people? Like say, 12 years old? In rancho cucamonga? Please visit us! I would love to take cooking classes!
Ethan
Well, I was going to suggest filming it, but I see someone already suggested that. My other suggestion maybe for one day is to have it streamed live so we could all cook together. Imagine people all over the world making breakfast and having fun together!
Good luck with the class, there’s no doubt you’re all going to have a blast!
Shannon
If you do go on a Joy World Tour I will be the first to sign up for classes in London! Come soon!!!!
By the way those measuring cups are beautiful!

I just scored a spot; I am very excited! I live in Sacramento so it is not too far of a drive. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I am definitely a breakfast for dinner kind of girl too. The menu for the class sounds awesome. Since I will already be in Sonoma for the class perhaps I will have to do some wine tasting later in the afternoon too :)
Love your blog! See you in Feb.
Chrissy
OMG! You are coming to my neck of the woods and of course, I am working that day! I will sadly be thinking of you and all the goodies I could be making that day. Have a wonderful time!
Meghan
I’d love to take a cooking class…I just sort of fly by the seat of my pants! I’m obsessed with soup at the moment, so much so that I started a blog. Didn’t you have a tomato soup recipe on here somewhere? Or maybe you just talked about it…
Keep up the amazing work! :)

Rhubarb and Venison
When you offer a cooking class in the upper midwest, I’ll be the first to sign up :)
Charles Quinn
Yikes, those eggs are over cooked, brown ring around edge means they are burnt, eggs are a delicate protein and should have been cooked at low heat.
joythebaker
Thanks Charles. This egg was just my humble breakfast and I happen to love my eggs over hard with crispy edges. That’s how I roll. Yikes.
Jen-
crispy egg….oh yeah baby!
Anna
And the yolk looks perrrrfect.
Erika from The Pastry Chef At Home
Soup Nazi from Seinfeld much? Geez. I like that you thanked him. You’re so gracious! Your egg is the most perfect looking thing that has ever graced the internets. That’s just the way I like mine too!

Joy, can you come to Dallas and do a cooking class please?! Your blog is ridiculously awesome, it gives me so much inspiration! I’m 18, so none of my friends are really interested in baking or cooking… so I’m left in the dust. Thankfully your blog helps me out :)
Come to Dallas please! Texas loves you.
Dani H
SO wish I could come. I’m sure it’ll be a blast. Have fun!
Jacqueline
Hi Joy!

Done and done!! And now the website works. Woo hoo :) See you in Feb & thanks again! I’m so excited.
Jacqui @ So Good & Tasty
How fun! Wish I could make it down, I could really use a dose of sunshine with my breakfast these rainy WA days. I like Akinaj’s idea of making it a video, at least take lots of pictures!
Marie
I love your blog! I have been reading for awhile now and always look forward to a new post. I can always be guaranteed a great recipe as well as some smiles and laughter. If we lived in CA, I’d be there!
LaChelle @ Sugar Duchess
Wishing you luck from two states away! Joy the Baker Awkwardness is probably crazy cute. :) Wish I could be there.
Katy
If I didn’t live on the COMPLETE other side of the country and wasn’t a poor college student who can’t spend $85 on things like this, I would SO be there. :) But I love love love breakfast foods, and I’m sure it’ll be fantastic. Have fun!
heather
breakfasts in california are pretty much my favorite breakfast memories. and reading your blog is one of the first things i do every morning…so being WITH you during that early morning time…and into the afternoon…would only make sense! t’is a shame that the commute is a bugger from MN :o(
love the new header background! especially the croissants :o)
risa

I can’t wait till you’re so big you’re like Santa, with Joy the Baker replicas popping up all over the world so that everyone can enjoy your lovely cooking classes. Till then, I shall have to make do with toast for breakfast. Hope your class goes swimmingly!

joythebaker

I wish I lived in La too. Alas I am out here in nowhere Ohio. A video class sounds great. I am sure your great photography skills would transfer over to some fine food film making!
