I want to throw my hat in the ring and give my opinion about the political shiz. You should be congratulated for sharing something about your life, not being scared to show your colours. I hate that political discussion has such a stigma that people who aren't afraid to show the way they vote are frowned upon. SO old-fashioned. This is a baking blog but it seems to me it's just as much a blog about Joy. You only need to read one of your wonderful posts to see what a gorgeous personality and spirit! Your an intelligent, independent young woman. To say that this blog is simply for baking is just insulting. I'm really pleased to see you stuck up for yourself, and your blog and your views (not that I would expect anything different from you). I feel like I know you just from reading your posts and obviously 'you' includes politics. Fabulous! It's about time people start caring about what happens in their country and vote accordingly - even if these views might contradict others, we should all be heartened by the fact that people are beginning to care again. Anyway, I hope all that wasn't too disjointed for you! The same sort of stuff is happening all the way over here in Australia the people with the liberal non-conservative views get in power and then there is a conservative backlash.
