Bake Out with Jill and Joy
I made Caramel Pudding with my friend Jill a few weeks back. You were here. You remember.
We made a video too! Oooh goodness gracious. We did.
If Caramel Pudding freaks you out… if you’re scared of cooking sugar to a golden brown… well, problem solved! I can show you how. I can talk you through it. I also happen to giggle the whole time. Let’s hope you find that endearing.
Bake Out with Jill and Joy is a little video series that Jill and I are putting together. Jill dreams up the dessert. I show her how to make it. We laugh… a lot. I say awkward things… a lot.

True story: I recently made caramel pudding and it was so awful that I fed it to my dog. And then I decided it wasn’t even worth the calories for my dog and so I just threw it in the garbage. It was pretty much the worst thing I’ve ever made (and I’ve made a lot of awful things). But now . . . dadadadah! Joy the Baker to the Rescue!

When I saw that post for caramel pudding, my exact thought was, “I really need to make that, but I’m scared of boiling sugar!!” (a friend of mine burned the bejeebers out of his hands with hot sugar once when we we younger), so this instructional video is just what I need! Take that, silly fears!

I don’t know about you guys, but I really want the whisk and spatula. One reason why I am commenting. Another is because of Joy. Joy, I want you to know that I am a 16 year old girl who dreams to become an aspiring baker. I go on your website and pick out what I really want to make and at the end all I can say is Yes! I’ve made another dessert item! Now, let’s eat! When I tell people my story of baking I tell them I have not had much lesson learning time on baking with my mother, grandmother, aunt, etc. I self-taught myself and am still self teaching. One day, I’ll be there. I’ll get there. Okay, as to now, I really want to win something on Joy’s giveaway. :D thank you Joy!
