Well I’ve never done it before, but I wouldn’t recommend making this batter in advance and putting it into the freezer.

Wow! I too am an Ina Garten fan. I will be going to see her in York, PA this February. Your cookie swap day sounds perfect, I bet you could hardly sleep that night after a day like that. I came to your site looking for your brussle sprout, bacon and egg recipe. I will be back again.
