Hello dearhearts!
I hope today you can do one strong thing that gives you peace. Keep it small. I want to moisturize and get to a yoga class. Let’s just keep today’s goals simple.
Be well today. Feel rested. Have a dang bagel. Hang out here to read my offering of links for reading:

Buddy… mushroom hot chocolate? Help me understand.
Love that you kept it simple last week. Sometimes everything is too, too much. Thanks for being out there!

Thank you for the Japanese gel recommendation! Buying it now. I’ve been buying R&F but want to try other things. If it makes my skin look half as good as yours I’ll be so happy

I look forward to your Sunday posts and learn so much! Thank you for putting all this together. Someday I will visit your city again and maybe participate in one of your classes, hope this day is a blessing for you!

The newscycle bit reminds me of a new place here in DC – a spin studio called Election Cycle. ha. for real, it’s a thing: https://www.electioncycledc.com

I woke at 5 this morning with 3 goals for the day. First, to immerse myself in one, perfect cup of coffee (an Americano, brewed stovetop in my espresso pot) while secondly, reading something with lovely pictures (an article on the gardens at Scribe Winery in Sonoma CA). The third is to bake a dark chocolate cake for a friend’s birthday celebration tonight. The opening to your post this morning assures me that I am on the right track for today.
Thanks for the loveliness !
joythebaker
Wow – you’re really well into a great day. High-five!
Andrea
Hello! Thanks again for your weekly writing, it’s very much appreciated!

Thanks for your wonderful input as usual. Now I know what to read on this Sunday here in Bavaria where we have snow again and it’s all white outside :) Have fun in your yoga class!

The newscycle piece is hilarious.
I heard something wise on a podcast (from Crooked Media–I listen to them all, so now I don’t remember which one made this sage remark): There are so many voter suppression efforts going on, we can’t do their work for them; get out and vote. (And yes, I vote by absentee ballot from overseas.)
joythebaker
Well done! And we certainly can’t do their work for them, you’re right!
