Make Your Own Drake On Cake || January 15, 2017

Join us in the Bakeshop Saturday, January 15th, 2017 for an afternoon of Drake-ing cake with Joy the Baker.  We’ll have cakes baked and frosted, we’ll have Drake songs going strong, teach the basics of trimming a cake with flowers, sprinkles, and lettering.  We’ll style our cakes and teach tips on getting the perfect shot and send all our cakes off to Instagram 

Afternoon includes lunch, snacks, and wine of course + all the Drake songs you can stand.

Space is limited to eight people. 

When: Saturday January 15, 2017 from noon – 3pm

Where: The Bakehouse: Historic Bywater, New Orleans

How Much: $175, travel and accommodation not included.

•  One layer cake, you’ve Draked

•  Small pouch of very festive sprinkles

•  A new friend, at least one 


The Bakehouse is located in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans. Local hotels and Airbnbs are available throughout the city.  Street parking is available and limited stacked parking is available along the side of the Bakeshop.  

Classes are not gluten-free, though we’ll try to accommodate any food allergies for lunch and snacks.  

The Bakeshop is also home to a large orange cat named Tron.  


Should you not be able to attend the class after signing up, you receive a 75% refund up to 2 weeks before the class.  If you can not attend and need to cancel within 2 weeks of the class, you’re welcome to send a friend in your place.


After the class fills, any open spots will be announced on Instagram (@joythebaker) and filled at a first come first serve basis.  Additional classes may be added depending on demand. Keep an eye out!
