I love the warmth of a kitchen.  Growing up there was always a certain excitement behind hearing my father prepare cake pans for baking or watching my mother decorate an elegant birthday cake. 

There was always a lesson and a sweet treat in the end.  From the flakiest pie crust, to the perfect butter cream frosting, most of my training and all of my passion for baking was born in my parents’ kitchen. 

My little sister naturally became my favorite cooking partner, as we explored our parents’ kitchen cabinets looking for various ingredients to emulate their talents.

From making delicate cupcakes and decorating hip wedding  cakes, to managing a busy cafe kitchen, or serving the perfect cup of coffee as a barista, what I love is people.  I truly enjoy making people feel special and cared for, in the presentation of the perfect celebration cake, or the taste of  a warm homemade muffin.
