Watch Out November!

October 22, 2010 by Joy the Baker 136 Comments

No-Bake Peanut Butter Tart

I’m terrible with surprises.  All that dang waiting… it just seems so silly.

I have a surprise for all y’all.

This November… just some days from this day today… there’s going to be a giveaway everyday of the month here at J the B.

Everyday!  Something lovely for you to win!

Tell your friends.  Call your Mom.  Write your Congressman.  I’m going to wait in line at the post office.  It’s going to be fun.

I just thought I’d let you know… in case you were thinking of blog breaking up with me between now and next month.

The last & perhaps only time I commented on your blog was when you were seeking ideas on buying a couch (what did you end up deciding?)
This time I am writing to rave … you’ve got a super track record with me. I have found some TOTALLY perfect recipes that I and my people absolutely LOVE: Your Chocolate-PB Ice cream, that fabulously moist All-Purpose Holiday Bundt Cake & in the last week that (Vegan) Pumpkin Walnut Bread. As a picky eater, I can’t get enough of any of these! Thanks so much.
Keep up the great work with your inspiring & personal recipes & stories.

Gah! November was already the most Epic month of the year with it being National Novel Writing Month and now I’ll have to take breaks from writing each day to check on the awesomeness of Joy! Who am I kidding, checking and reading this blog is part of my daily morning routine I’d be checking it anyway.

Yeah! Get ready for your comments to explode exponentially! I hadn’t checked out Bakerella in awhile, and there you were too. Two of my fave foodie bloggers in the same place. Wish I had been there too for the fun. Now, I have to figure out a time to make those onion rings. My husband will send you a Thank you email when I do. (cute kitten!)

My Top 10 Peanut Butter Recipes

I haven’t felt like making meals at all this week.  I don’t even seem to have the energy to cobble together my usual lazy stand-bys: scrambled eggs and a carb, toasted.  Strangely, I’m also not allowing myself to order any expensive (and everything is expensive right now) takeout so… well, I’ll be eating bananas smeared…
