Update!
Wow yโall! Thanks for all the inspiration! Youโve certainly got my gears working. Iโve got summer berries in the works. Iโm plotting some lavender goodness. And chocolate never goes out of seasonโฆ does it!? Our tart pan winner isโฆ drum rollโฆ
Look at this! Bright! Shiny! Scalloped!
Itโs a tart pan with a removable bottom. Itโs pretty snazzy.
For some reason, it took me about 28 and 3/4 years to buy one of these pans. I thought these pans were for super fancy bakers that make fancy French style fruit tarts all day and all night.
It turns outโฆ this 9-inch tart pan is our secret weapon against having to roll out pie crust. Thatโs right! Secret weapon.
With this tart pan all you have to do is throw together a dough and press it into the pan. Press. Not roll. Just like I did for this Strawberry Banana Cream Pie. Genius.
And! The best news ever! Iโm giving away one tart pan this weekend.
All you have to do is leave me a little comment inspiration. Tell me something youโd like me to bake up and post on Joy the Baker by the end of this Sunday, April 25thโฆ and you could have a tart pan delivered right to your doorstep!
My next move with this pan? Brownie Pie. Itโll happen. Prepare yourself.

Something special for Motherโs Day!
I know the contest is over, but I just saw rubarb at the grocery store, and was thinking rubarb, strawberries and the tart pan hmmmmmmmm what could I make?
I was wondering if you had chokecherry syrup and jelly recipes. My boyfriend and I both had grandmothers who made them. They are our favorites, but my son has never had either. Baking is my way of remembering my grandma. Iโd like to find one good enough to honor her.
I know Iโm late for this one โ but Iโm going to post my all-timefavourite apple-cinnamon-cupcake recipe anyways:
makes 12-20 cupcakes
For the dough:
150 grams of butter
3 dl sugar
2 eggs
2 dl flour
1 teaspoon bakingpowder
1 teaspoon vanillasuger
1 (big) teaspoon of cardamom
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
For the apples:
a small, sweet apple cut up into as many boats as there are muffins (if you are making a large batch, more apples might be necessary)
3 tablespoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons sugar
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius
Melt the butter. While itโs melting, mix together the sugar and eggs in a large bowl until it gets white and foamy, and then pour in the melted butter. Add the flour and the spice, and mix it all together. Then pour it into your cupcakeforms.
Peel the apple(s) and cut it into as many pieces as there are cupcakes, and lay them in a bowl or plate, then pour over the sugar and cinnamon. When they are completely covered with sugar and cinnamon, put one in each cupcake form and cover with dough. Bake for 20 minutes at the top of the oven.
I know Iโm too lateโฆbut great giveaway!
I canโt wait for BROWNIE PIE!!!!!!!! As soon as you post, I am stealing your recipe to make some for my boyfriend. You should include some sort of cheesecake element. That would be delicious.
What fun! Iโd love to try my hand at making a cherry tart.I saw so many beautiful tarts last year but was a little tart shy. Thanks for such a fun giveaway!

I would love to see you cook up vinatarta. Itโs a fantastic Icelandic layered dessert with prunes (but prunes as yummy, not yick).
I would like to see something light and refreshing and lemony.
Anything with Oreos. Maybe an Oreo cheesecake?
Something that I really love is banana pudding. Maybe a tart recipe that has similar flavors would be amazing! Key Lime pie is also a favorite!
Fruit or butter cream eclair!
Chocolate croissants
Key Lime anything!
So far Iโve loved all your recipes, so Iโm hoping you can help me with some of the ones listed. =)

Key Lime Pie I think would be the perfect summer treat.
I would like to see you make something delicious with Rhubarb. My mom says itโs vile and sheโs never had it in a way that she liked. I want to prove her wrong.
Ginger and Coconut tart?
Strangely, I got a tart pan as a wedding gift, 10 years ago, and I returned it. How I regret that decision.
Oh, so glad I made the deadline for this :)

So many good comments for pie inspirationโฆ but I think Iโd have to use the tart pan to make my momโs chocolate pecan tartโฆ so decadent that she only makes it once a year for Thanksgiving.
Ooh! Just in time to leave a comment! Thanks for a great blog! My go-to for when I donโt know what to make for dinner!
Iโve gone 39 years without a tart pan in my life! Something you could help me rectify. I think a Pina Colada Pie would be a yummy treat.
Something with rhubarb!
I would like to bake the most chocolate cookie pie ever and top it with ice cream and whipped cream and horrible hydrogenated sprinkles, especially as this final paper isnโt getting written anytime soon and my brownie-cookie combos arenโt out of the oven yetโฆ.
Thanks so much! I love your blog.
A smooth caramel flan
I have always been too intimidated to make it but it is so delicious!
Itโs spring, so Iโm feeling something light, fluffy, and photogenic. Something with fruit and whipped cream. Maybe something you could use a tart pan for! Fruit tart? Cheesecake with fruit? The possibilities are endless.
i love cinnamon swirl bread and so povitica seems like it would be the ultimate cinnamon swirl bread with other things like nuts mixed in. i commented about this another time and you asked what it was but never replied unfortunately. however, here is a blog with a recipe that i am scared to try and another link with how it is supposed to look. https://blog.itsalwayssomethingwithher.com/2008/05/povitica.html
https://secure.povitica.com/flash/home.html#/flavors
The Allergen-Free bakerโs handbook by Cybele Pascal has a recipe for a chocolate pudding pie that Iโd like to try if I had a tart pan. I have to find a substitute for the corn-starch but otherwise it would be safe for my food allergic daughter.
Anything with rhubarb! There arenโt nearly enough people who know how wonderful it is, so Iโd love to be the one to introduce them!
Iโd love to see you make a boston cream pie โ thanks!
Rhubarb pie, please, and its many tasty variations.

I am so overwhelmed by the idea of brownie pie.
What would I like to see? How about something spring-y: strawberries, asparagus- anything but root vegetables!
Some delicious spring-themed cheesecake sounds good!! Or ice cream, although that doesnโt require baking. :)
Please make an italian cassata cake.
Oh My God. Every time I go to the store, I pick up a tart pan. Look at it, maybe even creepily caress it, and have to force myself to put it back because Itโs fancy and expensive.
Would you make my day/week/maybe summer and bake a tarte tart cherries. You could call it a Tart Tarte, and that already sounds too adorably tasty.
Your blog is wonderful!
Make Banket, itโs a Dutch almond pastry that is delicious and flaky. A Christmas tradition at my house but itโs good any time, yum!
Any new cake :)
A lemon tart would be perfect! :)
K soโฆIโve always wanted to write you, so this is me doing that. A while ago, I wrote you a really long letter about how much my co-workers and I want to drive to LA to stock and meet you and get you to date our cat loving single friend. Right when I got the nerve to send it, I read a post that included news of a red headed boy in your life. The coworkers and I rejoiced for you but then we just got realistic and realized that the road trip to LA was plain creepy and I never sent the letter. Time has passed and I graduated from college and moved far far away from my joy the baker following coworkers. Now, since youโve asked for inspiration, Iโm wondering if you could bake something that you bake to de-stress and give tips about packaging baked goods so that they stay fresh. This way, I can send them something that I could say JOY THE BAKER made with them in mind. I would bake it, send it during their finals week and it would be fresh and delicious and posted by JTB (as youโve come to be known by in our small circle). If thatโs not specific enough, Iโve always wanted to know how to make shortbread ! :)
Cheesecake. Yum!
Something caramel-y and chocolate and divine
How about in honor of the soon to be
Kentucky derby โ the Derby pie or a traditional hot brown sandwich???
I would love a tart pan!!!
Cheesecake! Thanks for all the great recipes and helpful explanations!
Something related to margaritas. Seriously.
Almond burfi CAKE. Itโs my favorite Indian sweet, but I think if you could make it into a cake/cupcake/baked good it would be amazing.
gingerbread trifle please!
Itโs strawberry season! Make something with fresh berries!
Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble.
Following your blog for a while now and really enjoy your creativity and joy in the kitchen.
Iโd love for you to make a cookie bar or tart or snack using sunbutter (made from sun flower seeds). I have a nine year old son who is highly allergic to soy, nuts, and fish with minor allergies to dairy, rice, chocolate and eggs. So I render organic leaf lard and use oils and oat milk for baking to make totally allergy free foods. When we bake a couple times a month with dairy and eggs itโs a splurge, but we havenโt been able to indulge with the much missed peanut butter.
My son is missing Omega-3 in his diet as well. Could you figure out a way to make a low egg and low dairy cookie or snack with sunbutter and flaxseed (omega-3)? No egg and no dairy would be a dream.
Your recipes are amazing. Always a big hit with my friends here in Seattle. I would love to see another everyday cake โ as equally delicious as the poppyseed cake with blueberry glaze. Thanks โ keep up the good work!
Well, I already love everything you post.. The main thing Iโve been struggling with lately is bread bowls. Maybe you can help me? And if not, maybe you can help me with a tart pan. :)
BROWNIE PIE!! :)
Please bake something semi-unpredictable that includes rhubarb, itโs in season and I would like some fresh inspiration!
I would like anything with strawberries!

Joy! You actually inspired me to start a baking blog! mine only has two recipes so far (sob) but they are two amazingly delicious mouthwatering recipes. All thanks to you! This pie pan looks like a must have. Where is the best place to buy one?
Oh, and I always love a good contest/give away.

Iโm new to tartsโฆ.I would like to try something with berries.
Iโd love to see something using green tea, or matcha! Iโm on a real kick in terms of drinking it, but kinda lacking in ideas for baking with it :) Ooh, Iโm having visions of a green pie crust nowโฆ matcha laden pastry doughโฆ
I love your quick bread recipes. Seriously, not one Iโve tried has turned out badly soโฆ.how about some more. (and I do like that theyโre lower fat โ yay for you!)

What a dream! Mmm.
I hope itโs not too late!! Iโve wanted a tart pan for so long and canโt find them sold in my town!
I would love to make a nice fruit tart! Iโm thinking strawberries, raspberries or blackberries!
I would love something that involves strawberries and bananas in a tart pan..or just something thatโs easy to make as my first tart..Iโm new to tarts. Thanks!
When I was little I had an Ikea tart pan. My play-do made tarts were quite cute, actually. I think you should make some Macarons (not to be confused with Macaroons).
I would really like a tart panโฆit is a NECESSARY tool in world dominationโฆok..not so muchโฆbut it would be really rad and I would find an uber cool use for it in the brunches I have tendency of holding for my friends and coworkers :)
Iโd like to see more cakes!!! Iโve got a deathly serious cake obsession and need my fixes often. ;) Do something pretty with lots of layers or chocolate curls or whippy frosting. <3
I think you should make a strawberry/peach tartโฆThat just sounds like a great combo!
Hey there Joy the Baker!
I LOVE your site and check it daily/obsessively. While I love to cook I am scared to bake and as a result I stick to the few recipes I know and love, one of which is your avocado pound cake and the other is my grandmaโs banana bread. Lately Iโve been thinking to trying out some different breads and was hoping you could post about ciabatta bread. Itโs my favourite kind of bread but I find the thought of trying to bake it intimidating.
Thanks for all your wonderful inspiration!
Virginia
Hmmโฆ I would love to see some Banoffee Pie, or maybe some sort of filled cookie?
I had no idea! Pie in a tart panโฆ love it. My mom used to make the most wonderful frozen yogurt pie, usually strawberry. Wonder if you could do that in a tart pan.
Joy, you continue to inspire me every day! This tart pan is adorable and something I had never even thought about. You always have the greatest ideas.
I would love to win the tart pan but even if I donโt, I would love for you to make something with rhubarb!!!
I have like 100 tart recipes that I have cut out, but NO tart panโฆso the sky is the limit!
Joy, I would love for you to show me how to make perfect popovers. Oh, and I would love a tart pan, thanks.
One word: rhubarb!
My Nana used to eat these raisin biscuit things. โGoldenโ something, they were called. They donโt make them anymore. Iโve found similar biscuits in some asian specialty stores, but nothing quite compares. Even better would be for me to make them myselfโฆwith your help :-)
SOUR CREAM PEACH TART!!!!
And, yes, I was YELLING that one;)
I have always wanted to make a tart but donโt have a tart pan! I am wondering now if I could use a pie pan insteadโฆ I would make a lemon tart- I know, sounds unoriginal- but soooo good.
Double crusted cobblers! Yum! I want to win baby!
I would say a mixed berry tart. I love using the fresh berries of the season :)
Rocky Road Ice Cream, in cake/pie form. Please. I am drooling at the thought.
Crack Pie
Nutella Hazelnut Gianduja Pie
Mochi Matcha Pie
Pick me!
I like the basics. Make a fruit tart with strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, and apricots.
Something salty and sweetโฆIโm all about the salty/sweet thing lately. =)
I think I NEED a tart pan! I am very allergic to rolling out pie crust dough ;) and I seriously want to make a jam tart that I happened to come across the other day!
Oh my! Please please PLEASE make a 4th of July tart! But in May! It has strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, in this delicious creamy custard!!!
Well, summer is on the way. So Iโve got to suggest a rasberry or lemony type of tart. Served with ice tea please.
Mmmm, Iโd bake a chocolate banana tart.
How about shortbread in the tart pan? I made lovely Italian shortbread, topped with apricot jam and chopped almonds but didnโt have the tart pan to press the dough into โ it was still delicious! But, with the tart panโฆYummmm!
I would love to see a six layer cake, something Iโm wayyy to intimidated to do. I like to live vicariously through others.
Key lime meringue tart would be divine :)
Iโm on a mission! Joy you have inspired me to take up bakingโฆ So I am in need of supplies. This tart pan would take one of the things that I need off my list.
I always refer to myself as a โWant to be Martha Stewartโ ( the Latina version) But now I am a โJoy the Baker want to beโ
I would love for you to make Mexican Wedding Cookiesโฆ.
Joy! Youโre such a baking inspiration โ my friends and I just returned from the farmerโs market in Oakland with tart-baking dreams. Weโre excited by the gorgeous strawberries that have finally appeared in abundance, along with the latest and greatest (and under-appreciated?) stalks of rhubarbโฆwhat if you try for a strawberry-rhubarb tart with some sort of incredible crumble on top? Or are you strawberried-out from your extravaganza two weeks ago?โฆnahโฆ
Happy baking!
ooo how handy!!! would make for so many more pies in my houseโฆ
Lemon Meringue Pie, please! I love it, but Iโm a little intimidated of trying to make itโฆIf you make it, then I can follow the super easy steps while looking at beautiful pictures! :)

Oh me, pick me! I need a secret weapon for pie crust. And also a tart pan to bake all the tarts I have bookmarked from your blog and others. :)
Some kind of fruity cheesecake โ iโm obsessed!
I recently went to a nice restaurant where I had mint creme brulee for dessert. It was amazing!!!!! I normally dislike creme brulee, and I am not the biggest fan of mint flavors (besides thin mints) โฆ so it was so shocking how good this mint creme brulee was (topped with some rasberries of all things!) Iโd like a recipe for something similar :)
My hubby and I were recently in Portland, OR and I found the greatest little chocolate shop. Cocoa, they had amazing drinking chocolate and I bought a bunch of cool bars. Not at a loss on what to do with most of it, but I got Mexican Chocolate for the first time.
So Comment inspiration/challengeโฆ.. Mexican chocolate tart?
I just got back from Australia and had some amazing dark chocolate Rocky Road thereโฆ huge pieces of homemade marshmallow coated with a mix of toasted coconut, peanuts and dark chocolate! Yummmmm
ooo make a bakewell tart with itโฆ it would just be darling in that pan :)
in anticipation of having lots of homegrown tomatoes, I would love this pan to make tomato tarts!!
Would love to see a Joy cheesecake original!
By original Iโm thinking of a cheesecake with a flavour I have never eaten before. Letโs seeโฆ a rhuby cheesecake (very curious what a rhubarb cheesecake would taste like, sounds yummy to me!) or a Limoncello cheesecake (just the thought of itโฆ;-)!) or any other original unexpected flavour you come up with!
Apple toffee tart! Best. thing. ever. But itโs only for those who donโt mind explosions of sugar. XD
I would love to bake any of your fruit tarts, they all sound so delicious!
Something with chocolate and peanut butter whipped into a scrum-didily-umptous dessert that I know you have the talent for.
p.s. I love tart pans.
How about โthe perfect strawberry banana shakeโ ?
Or waffles. Everyone like waffles.
BTW โ brownie pie sounds delicious. Canโt wait!
Iโve been collecting quite a few recipes as of late that require a tart pan, like a Buttery Sage and Acorn Squash Tart, which I keep procrastinating on buying. If I got one, I might never leave the kitchen other than to buy more flour. That might not be such a bad thing!
How good are you with feta cheese? We always have some around the house thanks to the many local Italian stores and restaurants, but we always do the same things with them! Mix it in with a little pasta or have some with bread. Iโd love to see something like a savory dessert or a quickie meal.
Ooooh! Would love to see a recipe for a simple fruit tart. Light and delicious!
Anything chocolate. Or, maybe strawberries. Lots of strawberry dishes on the web now. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have seen so many strawberry pies lately, definitely wanting to whip some of those up!
hmmmโฆ. maybe something with strawberry and rhubarb? Pie? Tart? Or something chocolate would be niceโฆ No i have it something lemony!
I would like to see you cook something with a rocky road theme. I LOVE rocky road and am always looking for new twists on it!
Oh my! Iโve been looking for a good tart pan for months nowโฆI canโt seem to find good ones in my area. Iโve been wanting to make a black bottom chocolate hazelnut tart or a peanut butter banana cream. I could keep going for hours..
I posted yesterday, but now I donโt see that it went through. So I thought Iโd try again.
I just dreamt about creamy mandarin orange jello that I used to love as a child. (Orange jello, Orange sherbet, Mandarin oranges, & Cool Whip) So maybe you can help me cool my mandarin orange craving with a delicious baked good! Maybe some kind of mandarin orange tart perhaps?? :D
OR
I would like to see a new take on strawberry & rhubarb. I looove strawberry rhubarb pie, but I would love to try a new way to use them!
I love reading through the creative suggestions of your other readers, what a great way to get us all to put in our two cents. Thanks Joy!
My friend and I are going to try our hand at candy/chocolate making for college graduation gifts for our friends (and ourselves). Right now weโre looking a recipe for champagne truffles (celebratory AND delicious!).
Something fruity and cakey for breakfast that stores well and I wonโt mind feeding to my kids (ages 4 and 7) as part of a healthy breakfast to start their day off with. A few requirements- must have easy to find fresh ingredients, must make my coffee that much more wondrous, mustnโt take forever to prepare, and it canโt look, โgross.โ
If anyone can do it, itโs you, Joy!
Ready, Set, Go!!!
A lovely fruit and cream tart is what I am imagining. YUM!
Iโd like a twist on bullar โ a Swedish bun thatโs kind of like a sticky roll with lots of whole cardamom. There are so many variations of bullar that Iโd love to see one more. Yum!
Iโm dreaming of a chilly, minty grasshopper pie with a chocolate graham crust. Mint and chocolate equals total perfection. Thatโll be lovely- a cold piece of pie on a patio in Texas.
In high school my boyfriendโs favorite cookies (that I made) were Chocolate Orange Espresso Thins from Martha Stewartโs Holiday Cookie Magazine. All three flavors are distinctive in these cookies and they are silky smooth.
I have been wanting to try to deconstruct the flavors and texture (cause that is the best part) into a cheesecake or tart/pie type dessert.
Whatever you choose I know it will be great! Your recipes are amazing!
Hmmmโฆ pears are exceedingly cheap right now, so maybe a pear cake with crumble topping. Or I may wait until itโs strawberry season here. Iโm jealous reading about all of the fresh picked strawberries on other blogs. But, it will be the northโs turn soon enough!
I love granitas for summer. When I studied in Rome there was this amazing place that made an espresso granita and served it with the thickest, fresh whipped cream ever. Iโve tried making granitas, but donโt think I got it quite right. Any ideas?
Flourless deserts! Thanks for your always fun posts! :)
Whoopsโฆ desSerts!!
Something strawberry rhubarb so we can feel like summer is here!
I would recommend my baking plan for today:
Blueberry and Tapioca Pie with Lemon Crust.
It actually gets better as it sits and the tapioca soaks up juices. My theory is this improvement continues indefinitely, but in โhow many licks to the center of a Tootsie Roll popโ fashion, the world may never know. At least, itโs never lasted more than three days in my house.
I totally want that tart pan!
I would love to have a good recipe for key lime pie, I tried another recipe lately which didnโt turn out like it wanted it.
Iโve been on the hunt for a great coconut cake thatโs not too dense. All of the recipes Iโve tried from your blog have turned out fabulousโwould love to try your version of coconut cake!
I would love for you to make a savory tart, maybe carmelized onions with gruyere or something of the sort. Iโm pretty sure that would be the first thing I would make with that pretty tart panโฆ
Omgawd i want that tart pan baddd! Otherwise i, too, will probably get to 28 and 1/2 years without one, haha!
I think you should baaaakeโฆ.
one of the pies from that movie, โWaitressโ !!!
Some of them look so good in the movie, and Iโm sure with your variations, theyโd be even better!
Example: BABY SCREAMING ITโS HEAD OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND RUINING MY LIFE PIE โ New York-style cheesecake, brandy brushed and topped with pecans and nutmeg
: P
Peanut Butter tartโฆ.or blueberry crumble tartโฆmy two favs.
That brownie pie that is coming up sounds greatโฆor a key lime pie/tart
I need it, perhaps I could finally bring my husband over to the dark side (sweet-aholics) if I make him an icebox lemon tart pie?
A chocolate caramel tart with sea salt on top!
I couldnโt have said it any better than Tracyleaโฆcoconut cardamom custard in a flakey crust. I am in such a coconut phase right now! I just discovered Hersheyโs Coconut Cream Chocolate Kisses! Yummm!
Anything salted caramel related, please. Frankly, I just canโt get enough of salty-sweet combinations!
Joy, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog and all of your recipes! Iโd like to see more rhubarb recipes or lemon recipes for the spring.
Something with ice cream in the batter! Iโve always heard you could do that, but I havenโt been so successful at it myself.
A fresh fruit tart would be so wonderful this summer!!
summer makes me think of lemonade stands โ so maybe something lemony? something citrusy? (I may have made that word upโฆ)
soft, creamy toffee bars with melted chocolate and nuts on top
Would love to see you master those darling little Browned Butter Sea Salt Cookies stemming from the Central Coast of CA because there are some recipes out there but none of them seem to capture the same delight!
Fingers crossedโฆ
Yeah perfect for summer fruit pies
MmmโฆI swear Iโve got some kind of bananas foster tart recipe hiding around here somewhereโฆperfect for a hot summer day!
Ooooh, anything with chocolate or crust or ice cream or nuts orโฆIโm in need of some comfort food right now so I canโt stop thinking about all of these things! MMMMMM
I would love to win the tart pan, Iโm not sure I qualify for the give away since I live in Iceland but Iโm going to try anyway :)
โฆ And could you show me how to make crรฉme brulรฉe?
Itโs been awhile since Iโve made a good pieโa summer pieโstrawberry, raspberry, etc..
I love your site-have been stalking it for a while now. I would love to see something made with fresh fruit.
Oooo, so I was just at Bonefish Grill a few days ago, and they had the most amazing Key Lime Pie. I would love to see a recipe for that!
Iโve been dying to try an olive oil cake recipe. I had a heavenly slice of lemon/o.o. torte at one of my fave italian places in sf the other day, and now iโm itching to give it a shot!
My friend just introduced me to your site and I LOVE it! Thanks for the great baking inspiration!!!
maybe some delicious honey scones with homemade strawberry or rhubarb jam in honor of spring!
A coconut/tropical custard tart. Mmmmm I love coconut! Maybe with some lime. Honestly, what ever you come up with will be magical!
xo
Oh, I would love one of theseโI have a ceramic tart pan, but not one with a removable bottom.
What would I love to see you bake? Something light and spring=y I can take to Motherโs Day at my in-laws! Something fruity and healthy but still delicious!
rhubarb pie! yay! i love rhubarb and spring and tartes and pies.

anja
What about tiramisu? Mmmmmโฆ..Sounds good.
Madeleines! Maybe lemon ones, or chocolate ones, there are so many kinds to choose from!
How about a pistachio tart? That would be good! I need a new tart pan! :)
Hi Joy,
I love your website and would love for you to try and make the coconut cake I suggested to youโฆ it looks amazing and would love to see you put your spin on things! Hope I win!!!
Meena
A good fruity tart with all the yummy fruits which are available in So Cal right now, but wonโt be ready for a few months yet here.
a flourless Chocolate tart decorated with Fresh Red and Golden Raspberries and Sugared Violet Petels. Yum..
how about some southern banana pudding? My favorite dessert!!
cake truffles, mm
With it getting warmer, something with cream cheese and lemons. Maybe with some berries and chocolate! Iโm making myself hungry.
something with cinnamon and caramel!
Oooh, I would love to see a recipe for asparagus ice cream. Sounds crazy, but I just had it yesterday at the Stockton asparagus festival, and it was actually super delicious! I would love to find a recipe, but Iโm not sure how to replicate! :)
Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. My absolute favourite pie ever!
Mooncakes? :P Thatโll be something different!
I would love it if you featured a triple chocolate layered tart. Incorporating White, Dark, and milk chocolate somehow. It would be a delish combination! :)
How about a Rhubarb Napoleon or Rhubarb Semifreddo?
I am a traditional Indian cook. However, since I moved to the states, have become a fan of baking. I have browsed a lot of blogs but have been following your site for almost 3yrs. I love the fact that you cook both simple and complicated recipes and have been a real inspiration. I would love to see you cook something traditional indian and hear your comments on it. I tart pan is something I donot have so farโฆand would love to have one.
Your recipes have actually brought my roommates and I together! We love what you make and look forward to every new post!
Where would I beginโฆ.I think with a shiny new tart pan I would start with something light, sweet, and fruityโฆ. no chocolatley, maybe it should be something to sustain me through all the baking?
Ok that settles it raspberry-flavored truffle set in a biscotti crust. Oh it will be divine. Would would you like a slice?
The tart pan looks like a dream! Its starting to get warmer and Iโve always wanted to learn how to make a classy ice cream cake. Can ice cream cake BE classy?
A lesson on egg whites! Serious, Iโm terrible with them. My macaroons looked like cat throw-up.
You should make strawberry rhubarb pie or something or cinnamon roll cheesecake. mmm. Love your website.
I donโt know how anyone could possibly leave an inspiring comment to one who constantly inspires every one by sharing your wonderful perspective on life. But, Iโll pass on what my grandmother told me: The dirty dishes will always be there, but the opportunity to enjoy lifeโa walk with a love one is not, so leave the dirty dishes til later and enjoy life.
creme brulee
I would love to see you make something super chocolately, because that is what I am craving today.
Iโd like to see lemon squares. I love the sweet and tanginess of lemon squares, especially in the summer.
I donโt want to be a spoil sport and I am not one to shy away from sweets, but Iโd like you to make something savory like your Cheddar Pepper biscuits. Maybe a savory scone?
Iโd love to have a coconut infused Tiramisu type dessert! A cake with a poppyseed filling (European style). Maybe a Baked Alaska? I always look at baking pans, but also never buy them! OH Cupcakes! Coconut cream cupcakes with a custard pudding type center!
:)
Egg tart!
Coffee cake muffins! Iโm tweaking my recipe nowโฆ some pictorial advice would be awesome!
Actually, I think Iโd like to try the Missippi Mud Pie recipe I just found. Mmmmmmmm
Oh! Tart pan! So pretty! I would love to see some more rhubarb recipes on the site! I am absolutely addicted to it this time of year and love new inspiration!
Oooh, Iโd love to try a good fruit tart: maybe a whole lemon/curd thing, or something with strawberries. Either that, or a dark chocolate tart with gingersnaps for the crust, like this one. Yummy!
Baked alsaka with a twist (the twist is up to you). What could be better than cake and ice cream snuggled up under a layer of meringue? Not much.
For lunch a light quiche made with fresh fenugreek, leaves in place of spinach, and for dessert, a lovely tart with a coconut cardamom custard in a flakey crust.
What a great idea! I hate rolling out pie crusts. Thanks for thinking of the give-away. :) I would love to see you make bagels!
My husband was just talking about wanting some kind of apple cinnamon cookies, so Iโve been looking up what recipes I could transform to fit the bill. So a recipe for that would be awesome! :D
Pancakes. Iโd love some great, not just good, but great buckwheat pancakes for a Sunday/wknd morning. Brunch is my fave so I think pancakes might do the trick. And I have a whole bag of buckwheat flour that I havenโt a clue what to do with. If youโre tired of making pancakes (you have quite a few recipes in your filesโฆ) then how about an egg-white quiche.
thanks :)
Oh the delightfull list of the world of tarts is endlessโฆ..salted caramel tartโฆchocolate caramel tart with hazlenutsโฆ.and fruity and jam tartsโฆ.and yup there is lods and lods of inspiration ,right here at Joys happy sunshine bakery ..

How about a classic chocolate cream pie? Maybe with some orange extract added for kicks?
A friend of mine just sent me some key lime juice from Florida, so I am definitely going to try and make a key lime pie soon. Oohโฆ Or maybe a key lime cheesecake!
Joy, youโre such a giver! Can we ever send YOU thank yous for posting amazing recipes and entertaining commentary on your life? I would love to send you a nice bottle of wine to go with the upcoming BBQ season. Grilled kebobs, a big red, and some toasty warm bread. . . how could a meal get any better?
In the vein of seasons, its getting close to strawberry season in Maryland, and I think a light, refreshing ricotta tart with macerated strawberries and basil will hit the spot. What do you think?
I think something key lime would be delicious, suit the season, and be terribly cute with scalloped edges!
A chocolate tart of some kind! With orange perhaps. Or strawberries. mmmm. or Raspberries.
Anything that contains peanut butter and chocolate is a never fail combination :) but then again, I donโt think Iโve tried a bad recipe that youโve made!! keep em coming!
Joy! You MUST make fudgeโฆof ANY kind. I have yet to find a good recipe, and Iโm dying to make some.
What about some pancakes with ricotta, nuts & berries?
Iโd like to see some sort of quick and impressive dessert to prepare when last minute guests come for dinner! โฆ oh and Iโd love a shiny new tart pan! :)
Iโd love to see something with fresh spring vegetables. Maybe asparagus? Theyโre so yummy when theyโre fresh. Love your blog!
Hrmโฆso many things come to mind. Maybe something lemon/blueberry thatโs easy for the novice baker? Pretty please? Sugar on top?
You should definitely make a chocolate orange mousse tart! My last attempt broke apart taking it out of my regular old tart pan, but the broken tart pieces tasted incredible!!
I would love to know how to make fondant. Can you show me Joy? Thanks.
Sour cream raisin pie! retro, but totally delish.
or how about Nanaimo bars? cutard, graham, coconut and chocolate. yes.
If I won your tart pan, this is what Iโd be inspired to make: Blood Orange Tart- SO PRETTY! SO GOOD!
https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Blood-Orange-Tart-with-Orange-Caramel-Sauce-106137
I would love to read about you making/baking some savory meaty pies like pastelitos or other savory pies.
Iโd also love to learn how you prefer to cook dulce de leche (from the can or from scratch scratch with milk, sugar, baking sodaโฆ)
Yup, thatโs it! Thanks!!
Banana pie with Dulche De duche!
You should make one of the recipes from Waitress! Have you seen that movie?! Itโs great! Hereโs some pies she makes in the movie: Marshmallow Mermaid Pie, Falling in Love Chocolate Mousse Pie, I Donโt Want Earlโs Baby Pie, Baby Screaminโ Its Head Off In The Middle of the Night & Ruininโ My Life Pie, I Canโt Have No Affair Because Itโs Wrong & I Donโt Want Earl to Kill Me Pie :)
You can find the recipes online or transcribe them from the movie which I know you will go rent right now if you havenโt seen it!
I really have a thing for vegetable tarts and quiches, and with all the spring veggies that are starting to be in season (on the East coast), I would love to make something with asparagus and gruyere or baby greens and parmesan.
And of course this summer I want to make a blueberry tart that just overflows with fresh berriesโฆ
iโm looking for a cinnamon roll recipe with lots of caramel, raisins and nuts. hope youโd make them so i can follow too.
rice pudding! made with long grain brown rice โ i can never get it rightโฆ or something with angel food cake!
iโd love to see something with a really unexpected flavor combo, like orange-pear or blueberry-rhubarb โ something thatโs completely OFF but could still taste amazing together. love your blog, joy, keep up the great work! :)
Iโm a big fan of the lemon square myself.
A fresh berry fruit tart
ohhhhhhhโฆ.french fruit tarts bring back such yummy memories. I was lifeguarding one summer and there was an older french man who came and swam laps and always talked to me after about life in general and france and fruit tarts. He found a small french bakery and every so often would bring me small tarts to enjoy. Sooo good!! Iโd love to know how to make those!! Are they really fuusy??
Key Lime Pie โ never had it, never made it. I think this would be the perfect occasion to give it a shot!
marshmallowsโฆiโd love for you to make marshmallows!
I would love a savory tartโฆmaybe with asparagus?
something with chocolate and coconut!!!! awesome
How about something with chocolate and blueberries โฆ not a popular combination (usually other berries are thrown in there), but really tasty when together!
Hi Joy!! How many lovely ideasโฆ what about a ricotta something pie? maybe with pine nuts on top? cheers Martina
What about an orange-chocolate cake? Just love the combination!!
I had the most amazing โRed Pepper Tartโ at a restaurant I used to go but they never gave me the recipe. It was made with pie crust, a mellow layer of custard-like cream antd topped with the sweetest red pepper jam (this kind of peppers, oven-baked first, then cooked with sugar & syrup https://unorthodoxchef.today.com/files/2009/03/red_capsicum_and_cross_section.jpg)
a haiku for you1
pressing rather than rolling
ginger walnut tart
add mini chocolate chips too?
pavlova! or white chocolate macadamia/cranberry cookies! :)
gosh, Iโve never made a tart before. havenโt even considered buying a tart pan. but I think I would like to see you make brioche. brioche would be lovely :)
chocolate cheesecake tart!
Iโm thinking a proper good old-fashioned English custard tart. My husband and I (both American) are currently living in England and he has come to love this dessert. I have not yet attempted to make one and so this pan and your recipe would be a huge treat!
more cupcakes please! i fell in love with your blog when i found the brownie bottom ice cream cupcakes. Iโd love an amazing and simple recipe for cheesecake cupcakes with graham cracker bottoms! :)
Normally I have a sweet tooth, but Iโm craving something savory. Maybe a tart with spinach, roasted garlic, and pancetta. Ohhhhhhโฆ.pancetta! Yum!
CHOCOLATE TART! CHOCOLATE TART! CHOCOLATE TART!
Yeah.. I have a mean sweet tooth :b
Wow, a tart pan with a removeable bottom sounds pretty handy. I bought an old-fashioned one a year ago and never used it yet, because itโs just so impracticalโฆ
Seeing as you are my all-time baking-inspiration, itโs hard to suggest something. But how about some kind of strudel? I know, itโs a very Austrian (Middle-European) concept of baking, but Iโd love to know what youโd make of it. It doesnโt have to be a Viennese Apfelstrudel by the way, there are endless possibilities to make one. And Iโd love to find out more about real strudel-dough (not the puff-pastry one). It always looks soooooo complicated, but Iโm sure, youโd be able to make it look easy.
MmmmmโฆIโm craving crumb coffee cake!
chocolate pistachio cake! :)
i love your site, itโs very cute :)
hmmm now for the inspirationโฆ
well I love all of your breakfast ideas, so what about something like a breakfast quiche or cinnamon chocolate muffins?
Any kind of cupcake!
I think a little chocolate mocha mousse is in order! Yum!
Iโd love you to try a layered cake that my grandmother used to make called Fluden. It was layers of cake, nuts, apple and poppy seed. My grandmother didnโt really have any organized recipes. Would love for someone to come up with a good version of it.
Mmmmm Iโm dreaming of an almond tart, with apricot jam and drunken pears.
Iโd love a strawberry cheesecake!<3
Peach pie! Itโs peach season!
Something with meyer lemons!
Hmmm. My two favorite things in the world are chocolate and pie. So maybe something that combines them? French Silk, perhaps?
Nutella crepe pie!
by the way, I live in Australiaโฆ I probable wonโt win it but could it ever be a problem? aaaandโฆ. a hazelnut torte? two suggestions!
Youโve completely swept me off my feet with brownie pie! Iโm a โ brownie person.
Blueberry Orange Tartโฆ Iโve never found one satisfactory but maybe a Joy-approved one? :)
Iโm dreaming of biscuits right nowโฆ
I think you should make a fruit tart, Iโve always wanted a recipe and considering the fact this is a tart pan I think it would fit it occasion perfectly :)
And if it is made by you, I know it would taste wonderful!
:)
Because I am un-fancy, I will ask that you post something wonderfully chocolatey. This wonderfully chocolatey something may be un-fancy, but chocolate makes the world go โround. :)
any kind of tart. iโve never made one, but have wanted to. thus, i guess i need the pan, too! thank you for your awesome blog and awesome give-aways!
mmmmm tartsโฆnow I want Dorie Greenspanโs Tartest Lemon Tartโฆit uses whole lemons and itโs so fantastic!
Thanks Joy!!
A chocolate macadamia nut tart with caramel would be fantastic! Maybe even some sort of delicious fruit tartโฆ with seasonal, colorful berries, with a nice homemade whip cream or ice cream. YUMMM!!
Something with ooey-gooey cheese! :)
How about something with Nutellaโฆ..Nutella and bananas!
What about some international baked goods? (baklava, tiramisu etcโฆ)?

a lemon meringue and vanilla wafer crust tart. Super tart, in fact!
How about a hazelnut tart- or any nuts for that matter!
iโd love to see you make something savoury, like pretzels, or pizza? :D
I made the most awesome fig tart in mine. I actually got one at a yard sale for free! I was looking at it and the lady told meโฆoh just take it, I never used it! Brought it home and washed it up and noticed it had pampered chef on the bottom!!! It even has a little rolly thing to press the dough into the fluted sides!!! FOR FREE!!! Soโฆwhoever wins this pan, use it and love it!! How about figs & nuts in some sort of cheese base(Iโm thinking ricotta maybe?) OK Iโm making myself hungry!! Good luck!!
I think Iโd make something with a graham crust. Maybe one of those custard fruit tarts.. MM!
bakewell tart w/ gingersnap crumble!
I would love to try the Banana Strawberry Cream Pie. Strawberries-yum, Bananas-yum, anything pie-yum!!
anything that includes peanut butter is game in my book :)
Strawberry rhubarb pie:) Thanks for the chance to win a tart pan!
Love your baking, but also love your photos! How about you whip upโฆsomething thatโs gluten free, wheat free, corn free, dairy free, peanut free, soy freeโฆI know, difficult. My best friend has a ton of food alergies and Iโd love to make her something delish so she knows what โnormalโ food tastes like :)
something yummy with cream cheese!
Iโm thinking a tart with strawberries, creamy mascarpone cheese and a drizzle of reduced balsamic vinegar. Daring and delicious.
Maybe a key lime tart?
Hi Joy! Love the site. Since summer is quickly approaching, I would love some sort of cake recipe using apricots or peaches. Something different than your regular olโ peach pie
Something fruity. Or cream puffs. Or fruity cream puffs! =)
HmmmโฆIโm thinking something with cream cheeseโฆbut not cheesecakeโฆhold on, itโs coming, slowlyโฆsomething with a mixture of cream cheese and cherries and yellow cakeโฆ.hmmmโฆwhat do ya make of that combo, Joy the Baker??
;)
nutella tart!
I say you should make macaroons of exotic flavors โ eg. Horlicks Malt, Budweiser, Cream of mushroom (why not try savory ones!).
peanut butter and jelly tart!!! yummmy :)
How about some Baklava?? Delish!
This may seem somewhat out of the blue, especially among all the cheesecake requests, but can you tryโฆbaklava? I made it once before, a few years back, using the recipe out of the Gourmet cookbook. It was seriously delicious and incredibly, unimaginably time-consuming. I understand if the latter half of that doesnโt exactly make this something you want to jump on, but Iโd really appreciate it if baklava could be a good Sunday projectโฆrather than a Sunday-until-3AM-on-Monday project.
So anyway, thereโs my vote, and if fulfilled, youโll make one college studentโthe kind of college student who wanders kitchen supply stores in helpless desireโvery, very happy. Iโve tackled many projects from your blog already, and I canโt wait for more!
I would like you to make Pistashio cake. It was my grandfathers favorite cake and I only recently had it and I love it! Even if I do love it, I would really like to see your take on it!
red velvet cheesecake! i made it once and it was incredible! instead of regular vinegar for the cake, i used apple cider vinegar and it made the red velvet cake more flavorful!!
How about something savory? I loved your paprika biscuits. Just delicious.
Just ran across your site and LOVE it! :) How about some banana cake? Iโm thinking it would be wonderful with some of your strawberry frosting YUM!!
How about cheesecake?
Youโve sapped the creativity right out of me by mentioning a brownie pieโฆ thatโs all I can think about now.
Buuuut (Iโm a comply-erโฆ what can I say, I couldnโt not suggest something), to change things up a bitโฆ how about something savory? A quiche or tart using some spring veggies?
Key lime pie or lemon icebox pie.
Tarte au chocolate or chocolate peanut butter pie.
Strawberry rhubarb pie! My mother made it once when I was a kid and I loved it โ it seemed so exotic, since I had never seen rhubarb before. Iโd love to see a (Joy approved) recipe so I could make my own.
iโm thinking a POM red velvet cake :)
I heart tart. :) thanks for being my baking inspiration Joy. Love it!
Chocolate chip cookie crust with a decadent chocolate mousse filling and whip cream on top! mmmmm!
oh. iโm obsessed with strawberries right now. can you make strawberry tart? strawberry cookies would be kind of weirdโฆ
I think itโs the perfect time to start cleaning up the patio furniture and having more lovely brunches. I would like to see you do a sweet and savory quiche. I think it too many people take it to an automatic savory level. I like to see you do it with a mix with like brown sugar bacon, apples and other fresh spring veggies and fruits.
Actually using avocado with that sounds yummy too.
Chocolate lava cake? So so so delish! Mmmmmm
hmmโฆ something with chocolate and coconut โ cookie, cake, whatever. :)
Some dairy free avacado ice cream. Cuz the avacado cake rocked and it needs a friend.
something lemony because I just bought a huge bag of beautiful organic onesโฆ:)
a cookie please โ something new and delicious!
Coconut cake? I donโt know, Iโm quite pregnant right now so any baked good appeals to me.
Iโm gonna need you to make a mean lemon bar. Those blasted things are rapidly expanding my waist line! And P.S. I have been wanting a tart pan for SO long! I loathe rolling out pie crust โ boring.
Hi Joy! Love your blog and yummy recipes!
I am dying to try out a yummy, summery plum tart recipe โ and need a tart pan! ;)
Make a strawberry rhubarb pie!!
Chocolate and raspberries would be a tasty combination, or maybe blueberries and lemon. Whatever you choose I know it will be a taste sensation.
How do I love theeโฆ.let me count the waysโฆand how many ways could I use this pan
How about a grape pie? I heard they can be pretty fabulous tasting, especially when cooled. I just have never come across a grape pie in a store or restaurant so Iโm definitely curious!
I would love to see an old recipeโฆโAmalgamation Cakeโ
Hi joy!!! I love everything you do!!! I think you should make some coconut cake, mainly because i want some right now!
Something with strawberry & rhubarbโฆyumโฆ
Reeseโs Chocolate Cake
Iโd love for you to bake more muffins! (:
My favorite โ peach ice cream. And something to go with the peach ice creamโฆ
If you could post it somewhere near the 4th of July (my bday) that would also be grand. :)
something rhubarby! (Iโd like a little inspiration for baking with rhubarb myselfโฆ)
Iโm thinking plums! What do you think? I know, I know. I thought it was a pretty amazing idea too! ;o)
Pastel de Tres Leches.
My instinctive response is โ chocolate, anything chocolate! โ but since my rhubarb is peeking out of the ground, Iโd love a new idea for rhubarb (not muffins!). Thanks for a really (shiny!) giveaway! :D
Umm, Iโd love some key lime pie right nowโฆor better yet, a key lime tart! So sweet, tart and refreshing!
Oh the many things I could make with this!!
Something chocolate. Maybe a chocolate tart with some type of fruit (raspberries, strawberries, oranges).
Cinnamon rolls!
Iโm in the middle of finals and thesis-writing in my last semester of college and all I feel like doing is baking. Iโm looking for some healthier recipes, though, because there is food EVERYWHERE right now โ cakes and brownies and candy and chips โ for all of the end-of-year events. Iโd rather not gain an extra pant size, but I still want to bake!
My strawberry pie recipe has a glaze made from sugar, water, cornstarch and strawberry jello. It is delicious and holds together, but feels so 1975. Can you give my go to strawberry recipe a makeover??? And maybe give me a pan?? Please and thank you!
I would love for you to give us a new ice cream recipe. I ave so enjoyed the Chocolate Peanut Butter & Banana Cream Pie recipes.
I would love to see something combining chocolate and peanut butter!!!!
I want to make a fruit tart!!!
Strawberry Rhubarb Tart, itโs in season and so good! I would recommend the book Once Upon a Tart. It has really wonderful tart recipes as well as many other sweet and savory recipes. Itโs from the cafe in NYC. Thereโs some great cookie and scone recipes in this book too!
I have just finished watching the Waitress for the upteenth time and its a toss up between Marshmallow Mermaid Pie or I donโt want Earlโs Baby Pie! The latter is winning, something about Brie, green onions, ham, butter and cream that just sound sooo good right now.
Something with strawberries and rhubarb!
Something with Loquats!!! You know they are all over the place and perfectly ripe here in Silverlake!!
strawberry shortcake :)
Wow. Thatโs justโฆ wow. Does it still count if I live in NZ? Please say yes. Please.
Iโm allergic to dairy and eggs and soy. Iโm just DYING for some creamy ice cream. Any flavour. Oh and Iโm allergic to almonds too. No almond milk. There. Youโre a genius. I have total belief in you. If anyone can come up with a recipe for that, you can. *smiles sweetly*
Is there such thing as a chocolate cream puff? If there is, Iโd love one with creamy custard and berries, please :)
Honey, Fig, Almonds
Those are my favorite ingrediates, todayโฆ..
Yesterday they were Walnuts, Chocolate and Vanilla
But today Honey Fig Almonds
Auntie Jo Jo
Iโd love to attempt a quiche for my mom for motherโs day, it is one of her favorite foods of all time- and the strawberry banana cream pie would be fantabulous!
uber intrigued by the idea of a brownie pieโฆ. can i pick that? I want to use this tart pan for apple pie. Yum!
I think a fresh fruit tart would be great to try! You get to use your tart pan, and who canโt pass up some delicious fruit + crust and pastry cream? Delish! :)
Iโd probably keep it very simple with an Apple Tart. :)
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blueโฆin celebration of Avatar on BLU-RAY DVD! Come on, Iโm a guy. We celebrate these things. The blue cupcakes from Ralphโs scare me.
Dying to know how to make those soft chewy oatmeal cookies with raspberry, yum!
โI just hate health foodโ, Julia Child
Iโd love to see a banana cream cheese pie. Hmmm.
Hmmmโฆ how about a brunch item? Pancakes or coffee cake.
Joy firs off I just want to say that I LOVE your blog. Another thing I love is chocolate and raspberries so any creative combination of those 2 things would be awesome. And if not too much to ask I always wanted to try rhubarb pie.
Thanks, and keep up the great work.
How about some imperial cookies or pavlova?
Caramel Banana Pie. A friend of the family used to make them, and I havenโt been able to get that pie out of my head for the past month. I mean, come on, banana slices suspended in delicious, sticky caramel and topped with whipped cream? Fan-freaking-tastic.
coconut cakeโฆ reminds me of spring! yay spring!!!!
coconut cream pie
Since rhubarb is all over the place, I would say something with rhubarb. Iโve always wanted to make a cherry clafoutis but never have. Maybe you can make a rhubarb clafoutis. Is that possible, or does a clafoutis have to be cherry? Pick me, pick me, Iโm dying to have a tart pan, but live in a tiny town and can only get quality cookware online, and Iโm tired of paying extra for shipping.
Any sort of dessert incorporating peanut butter, chocolate and fudgey goodness. You can never have too many PB & C recipes : )
PS. Love your blog!
How about something beautiful with some fresh fruit? It is almost summer you know!
I definitely want lemon bars!!! My mom, sister and I are doing all of the baking for my August wedding. One of our desserts will be lemon bars. I love Inaโs recipe but Iโd also love to try a new one.
Banana cake with cream cheese frosting!!! Yum!
Well, it would be a shame not to use that pan some more.
You could go 2 ways. Something savory, like a quiche with some asparagusโฆmmmmmโฆand maybe some cheese and hamโฆorโฆbacon!
Orโฆyou could go with something sweet like strawberries and marscapone cheese with a chocolate drizzle. Oh my, I am hungry now.
I have a tart pan, but Iโve never used it because it doesnโt have a removable bottom and I was always afraid I wouldnโt be able to get the thing out. Enjoy being creative this weekend! Canโt wait to hear how the brownie pie turns out.
Any kinds of cheesecakes.
Hi Joy!!
Iโd love to see you create a replica of โOatmeal Creme Pieโ cookies. Iโve tried, and just canโt get it!!
I KNOW you can find the right combination of flavors!!
Oh, I would love to get this, Joy! There is one recipe that I really want to try, but Iโm afraid to buy myself a tart pan because I donโt know that Iโd use it often enough. I really want to try Smitten Kitchenโs Dark Chocolate Tart with Gingersnap Crust.
Oh Joy, how I would love to have this pan. I have been without a kitchen for two months while we move and renovate. I canโt wait to get back in the kitchen, a new kitchen! To celebrate, I have decided to buy myself a new kitchen gadget, one Iโve been wanting for a long time, a kitchen torch. The purpose is Creme Brule, Iโve never made it before and havenโt searched for a recipe yet, so thatโs what I would like you to make for me, please and thank you :) As for recipes with a tart pan, how about a nice summery custard tart with fresh fruit or berries?
HI there โ I would make a huge chocolate chip cookie. Yum!
Yum Yum Stawberry Tart
I would like a pan to try out the strawberry banana cream pie, I have been dying to try it. It would be so wonderfully delious!!!! Oh random winner picker, pick me I really need it!

something salty with morel mushrooms would have to go into that pan for me
How aboutโฆ ummmโฆ hrm. Mind is blank. Cherry pie? Cherries arenโt in season I donโt thinkโฆ so how about just some super fresh fruit pie? Mmmmm.
Rhubarb pie or tart. Oh please, oh please, rhubarb pie (or tart). Anything with rhubarb, really. I have not eaten rhubarb before, so it would be sweet to see your experiences with it before I delve into baking with it myself ;]
Iโm craving waffles, so perhaps some take on waffles?
Something I want you to makeโฆ fat-free, waist-reducing brownies? With ice cream? And hot fudge? That would also make my hair shiny? And if I win the tart pan, Iโll also have one before I turn 29. Good call, Joy. Good call.
Does that mean your 10 year high school reunion is this year? Because mine is. Thatโs why I need those waist-reducing brownies. Itโs in October, so you have a couple of months to help me get ready. Awesome.
Seriously? Because I need this thing, like, yesterday! I almost broke down and bought one off ebay. Gimme gimme!!
How about some mini, bite-size desserts. I need some inspiration for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party I am having in June. I want to have a pretty dessert buffet with lots of goodies :)

I had the best homemade chocolate covered caramel pretzels. The caramel was so soft and smooth! They were delicious!! And I canโt get the recipe!!
Something with meyer lemons and apricots. Sounds springy.

Iโve been dying to make a dark chocolate tart. :) Yum!
Iโll put my vote in for chocolate profiterols, or some type of cream filled eclair. My husband is mad for eclairs, but I have never made any. Help me make his dream come true, Joy!
Love that pan. I hope you make international deliveries!
Anything with rhubarb! Craving that first taste of spring.
Mmmโฆsomething fruity and light!
My absolute favorite thing to bake and eat is zucchini bread. Do you have any other baking recipes that use zucchini? I would love that!
I love a sweet pastry crust filled with a gooey chocolate chip cookie doughโฆ.I think that would be a winner all around!
Hi Joy!
Iโve been lovin your blog and would love to see Cheesecake appear sometime!
or even an oozy gooey chocolate caramel pie with peanuts! sounds like a snickers pie if such a pie existed :)
Ooo, make something with blackberries. Maybe teach people how to make compote?
How about a cake that is spring/summer/hot weather inspired? Maybe with pineapple, or some kind of summery fruit? Yummmmmmmmโฆโฆ..
Iโd like this tart pan. I recently went looking for mine and found it to be shot! Iโd like to see you make something with my favorite rhubarb. Maybe a vanilla custard with the fruit baked in it-like a clafouti type thing. Or a light gingersnap crust with a low cheesecake and the stewed then pureed rhubarb served with. Iโm not sure but I love rhubarb and I want that pan! Love your blog!
I would love love to see a fruit pavlovaโฆsweet and simple, but oh so good (especially with extra homemade whip cream). would love a twist on this โsimpleโ dessert.
Hmmm, how about a chocolate and PB pie? Or a snickers pie? or a fancy french fruit tart? SO many possibilities!!
Joy, I canโt believe I am number 497!!!! It would most definitely be lemon blueberry buttermilk, for sentimental reasons-I will tell you sometime.
Iโd like to see what you can do with a chocolate Texas sheet cake!
I would have to agree with Key Lime Pie- yum!!!!
Oh, I would love to get this! Iโve recently discovered the joy of making tarts, and having a pan with a removable bottom would make life so much easier!
A tiramisu cake would be good! Iโve tried a couple times to make one and for some reason I just canโt get it right.
A smooth almond cream cheese and fresh fruit tart.
I would love to see toasted coconut ice cream or a toasted coconut dark chocolate cookie!
something with granola! I just bought wayyy to much
Nanaimo bars! Iโve been meaning to try them for so, so long! They are three layered bars; first layer is a chocolately graham cracker, nutty layer. The second layer is a buttercream mixutre, and the top is melted chocolate. heaven!
OMG I would love to have this tart pan, Iโve been wanting to make your strawberry banana cream pie since you posted it!
Also, I have my motherโs recipe for crawfish cornbread, Iโd love to give it to you and see how it works for you. I know it sounds weird (crawfish cornbread), but itโs amazing.
Please try to make cannoli cake! Itโs so delcious but I can never find a good recipe
Perhaps a cheesecake which Iโve always wanted to try and make but have never actually gotten around to!
I would love to see a recipe involving rhubarb.
i made a strawberry tart yesterday and am thinking about cinnamon rolls for breakfast tomorrow.
Okay, well since we are on the topic of tart pansโฆ I just recently ejoyed a cute and incredibly delicious mini apple crumb tart at a local art museum cafe. I really would love to get a great recipe for this to create at home!!
Lemon meringue pie or bread pudding!
A white chocolate cheesecake with an oreo crust and dark chocolate ganache on top ;] yumm
Itโs really more of a summer recipe, but spring has finally (I donโt want to jinx it) arrived, so how about a berry tart? Deeeelicious!
I would love to see a fruit tart, Iโve always wanted to get a recipe and since it is a tart pan I think it would be perfect! And if you make it, Iโm sure it would be wonderful :)
Your favorite cheesecake. Maybe I thought of that because Bobby Flay is in the background having a cheesecake throwdown with Juniorโs. I NEED a tart pan.
How about a decadent chocolate raspberry tart. I can taste it now.
I am loving Spring these days, so my vote is for something โ anything โ involving lemons.
Classic lemon square? Seemingly simple, but incredibly satisfying. My mom used to make them every Easter, but I canโt seem to replicate them.
Since I also love your colleagues site: (www.brunelloshavemorefun.com. I love wine as much as baking)is there any way to combine the two in one dish.
Iโm already having nightmares about the long-gone Girl Scout Thin Mints and Tag-a-longs. So if you could somehow bake up a copycatโd Thin Mint or Tag-a-long something or another, then I might just propose to you.
Banana cream pie with a granola crust, for SURE.
Hmmmโฆ tres leches cake? Or spicy cheesy bacony biscuits? Rhubarb ice cream or sorbet? Spicy vegan dark chocolate cake warm ganache and ice cream and god now I want a brownie sundae.
wine poached pear on pistachio cream tart. thereโs a recipe for that in Dorie Greenspanโs Baking: from my home to yours that Iโve been dying to make. Mmmโฆpistachio creamโฆ.
hmmโฆIโm thinking something Farmerโs Market-yโฆ.whatever looks awesome at the market whipped up into an impromptu pasta??
iโve been searching for a good blondie recipe! you should make one. possibly with some homemade ice cream? mmmmm.
Super simple โ blondie or go for a smoreโs tart.
Hmm, this isnโt a very specific recommendation, but I am seriously craving sweet and sour flavors in baking right now! i am thinking lemon and blueberries cake or buckle or muffins orโฆ
Toffee Cake โ a nice buttery cake with moist toffee swirls in it. YUM.
How about a lemonade cake for summer? From scratch, of course. All I can find on the Internet are โpokeโ cakes involving cake mixes and jello. Iโm thinking a nice light cake with a lemon-y syrup glazeโฆ
Using your new tart pan -maybe something with a shortbread type crust โ jam tart with some yummy freshly made jam?
Iโm thinking of some delicious concoction of raspberry, citrus and spice. Great combo, no?
creme brulee
Iโd kill to see some more Super-Brownie recipes, like the Smores Brownies. I think some brownies involving massive amounts of caramel would fit the bill nicely. :)
Iโm in charge of Motherโs Day dinner this year and Iโm looking for something that will be light and delicious after some chicken alfredo. Iโd really like to use some of the delicious strawberries that keep popping up in the store.
iโm a huge fan of cakes โ maybe a recipe for a summer cake with berries that isnโt dry? I feel like, too often, cakes completely rely on the frosting to be moist, but I like cakes by themselves as long as they are light and luscious and delicious!
Iโve had my eye on a Chocolate Ricotta tart recipe. Cheese and chocolate. Yes!
Tarta de Santiagoโan awesome almond cake/giant cookie that hales from the North of Spain. YUM!
a baked ricotta cheesecake!
I love your blog. I have made so many of your recipes and theyโve all turned out great, except for the Raisin Bran Cookiesโฆbut that was my fault. I think I left out the baking powder :( Personally I thought they were still great, but others to whom I gave them too didnโt agreeโฆ Iโll have to try again!
It sounds weird, but I love this honeyed yogurt tart, its awesome! So this is what I think you should make! Heres the link: https://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/honeyed-yogurt-and-blueberry-tart-with-ginger-crust
I have this massive milkshake craving. Perfect summtertime treat!!
Hi Joy :D
How about a fresh fruit tart cake?
Thereโs a thin layer of sponge cake on the bottom followed by a top layer of either phyllo of puff pastry (sry I didnโt make this I ate it at a party.) Itโs all covered in a butter cream that is not your typical butter cream b/c it isnโy overly sweet. And ontop of all that yumminess fresh fruit!Overall, this cake tart was DELICIOUS!
I would really appreciate it if you posted a recipe similar to this, so I can try it at home!
Thanks bunches,
Faby
After looking through your recipe index Iโm not sure you have much left to bake, but lots more for me to explore thatโs for sure. I donโt think I saw a tunnel of fudge cake on your list. How about one with a really thick and gooey fudge center. Iโve never made one or even eaten one, but dream about it whenever I come across a recipe for it. One day Iโll just go ahead and bake it. Not sure whatโs holding me up. Looking for the perfect recipe I guess with a really sticky center. Iโd love to see what you come up with!
Iโd love the tart pan as well. So handy!
Grasshopper pie!!!! Oreo and mint. Is there anything better???
I have been dying to try a rhubarb tart from the garden. Thanks!:)
No way! I feel like we must be kindred spirits because I KEEP DELAYING my purchase of a TART PAN. Iโve definitely been putting it off for quite awhileโฆwould love to win this!
Anywhoโฆyou should totally bake ANGEL FOOD CAKE! With all the delicious berries in season, you canโt go wrongโฆ
some sort of custard fruit tart or maybe a chocolate tartโฆtrying to impress a cute boy so the latter may work better :P so if you could help me out thatโd be awesomeee and very much appreciated :] :]
Iโd love to see a pie/tart with a nice layer of chocolate on the bottom and then fresh strawberries! i LOVE strawberry season in California :)
More muffin recipes please!
I donโt have a flavor combination, but I would love to see something that you can make ahead and either freeze the dough or keep the batter in the fridge for a couple days.
Lemon tart w/ some luscious lemon curd, oh my goodness. :)
I had an amazing watermelon soup on my honeymoon and would love to make it for our 1 year anniversary thats coming up. Also, I have been trying to find a new way to prepare leeks.
I would love to see an ice cream recipe on here. Something with chocolate, caramel and no nuts or alcohol. ;)
Thanks for the giveaway.
Hi Joy, I always love visiting your blog and seeing what youโre making. You are one super fabulous lady!
Hmm, Iโd love to see you bake something savory with whateverโs in your farmerโs market right now. Iโm in the Midwest and weโre getting asparagus, mushrooms, stuff like that. Yum!
I would love more muffin recipes or perhaps something for people in college with few/special ingredients!
More pancakes! One can never have too many pancake recipes.
How about a fruit bread pudding?
I definitely thing something summery. Like some kind of peach or strawberry tarte!
Or anything with chocolate and/or coconut!
How about a key lime pie ice cream recipe? Or lime sorbet. I was in Charleston last summer and they had key lime pie ice creamโwas amazing but I havenโt found any good recipe for it yet.
A rainbow cake!
I would like to see a cheesecake. Key Lime or something else more creative. ;p Youโre awesome!!
Have you ever made a delicious, scrumptious banana cake? Iโve seen breads and muffins but I donโt think cake. Iโll be making one and you should too!
SHOOFLY PIE! My 2.5 year old has requested this after hearing it in a song and, alas, I have no idea how to go about it. Puhleeeze?
How about nanaimo bars? Iโve only had them once but they were lovely and left an impression.
I just made asparagus quiche sans tart pan, and I would love to see you make something like that!
Have been wanting to make a sweet goat cheese and strawberry tart for the longest time, but am having trouble putting together a recipeโฆ maybe you can help! I have loved follwing your blog!
How bout a quiche? With lots of fancy cheeses, and roasted red peppers, and GARLIC!
Something baked with peanut butter!
My vote is for a rich delish custardโฆwith an ever so delicate crackle of a carmel crust. I am coming doing with a spring cold and this sounds so comforting to me.
Tres Leche Cake
Iโd love for you to introduce the world to the Canadian treat Puffed Wheat squares. YUMMY. Cocoa-y goodness thatโs sometimes mistaken for espresso beans. Email if youโd like the recipe! =)
Um, want to be my new best baking friend??
I wish that I would have come across your site much sooner, but Iโve had the best time over the past few weeks checking out your archives. Iโm overwhelmed with amazing photos and recipe ideas. I bake my way through my husbandโs deployments, and this upcoming one will be no exception โ thanks for all of the baking inspiration!
As for a blog ideaโฆhave you experimented with cream puffs? Just to be clear, Iโm not talking cream puffs with fluffy filling โ I crave cream puffs with a thick, rich, vanilla custard type filling. Maybe drizzled with a little chocolate OR topped with some slightly sweetened, freshly picked strawberries (with juice running down the sides!) YUM. Donโt tell, but Iโve had new strawberry recipes penciled in on my May calendar for months now!
Keep up the delicious work โ thanks for the chance on the tart pan.
I would make something with the strawberries we are getting from our CSA (support local farmers!). Iโm predicting it will have cream cheese or ice cream or bothโฆ
Iโve never made a tart, but if I win this pan Iโll certainly make one. Probably something with strawberriesโฆyum.
A moist and delicous Turtle Cake, my mouth waters just thinking about it and thank you.
Lemon Curd Tart
how about a cheesecake? preferably chocolate. :)
Meyer lemon and blackberry tart!
I would just love for you to bake an easy recipe that is GLUTEN FREE (please, no peanut butter cookiesโฆ.that recipe has been used to death at my house for my gluten-free daughter). I desperately want to make gluten free baking fun!
A yummy lemon Meringue Pie!! emphasis on the yummy :) though you usually do!
My grandmother used to make me a fresh strawberry pie every year for my birthday. Now my mother has taken over the tradition, and itโs still the thing I look forward to most on my birthday! Strawberries are coming into season, so perhaps you should use your new pan to make one of these wonderful pies!
Alsoโฆ any ideas for easy-to-share desserts to bring to pot-luck dinners? :)
JOY! Ohโฆhow about a delicious bourbon pecan tart with buttery shortbread crust!!! Mmmmm everything is better with butter & bourbon!? It has JOY written allllll over it! ANDโฆyou did say you hadnโt experimented much with pecan pieโฆit could be a fabulously delicious thing! Sounds inspirational to meโฆoooo ooo and served slightly warm and gooey with a butter brickle ice creamโฆAMAAAAAZING! Be inspired!! :)
(did I win??? Did I?? did I?? :)
OMG! Butter Brickle ice cream sounds so good right now! I havenโt had that in ages!
Um Brownie pie, I donโt think you need inspiration. YUMMY!!! But really I am fine with anything chocolate.
I would like to see summer drinksโฆ lemonade, strawberry lemonade, sangriaโฆ fun, cute and fancy for a summer party!
Iโd like to see you tackle an ice cream cake (not literally tackle, of course. Thatโd be strange). As much as I love a good DQ ice cream cake, home-made ones are always so much better. And I can just imagine how amazing one made by you would be.
A number of years ago I had a banana cake that was amazing; it was like a chiffon cake. The crumb was tender and the cake was so amazingly light and not the typical stodgy banana bread. Will you make something like that?
Iโll be making a Strawberry Almond Tart! yummmmm!
I loved your peanut butter fudge treats recipe with the rice krispies! I would love to see some sort of oreo, cheesecakey type of bar!
Iโd like to see your version of Strawberry Soup. Itโs not a baked item, so for that, Iโll leave you with Strawberry Rhubarb Pie (or cobblerโฆ either one will do!).
Im trying to find the perfect cake for my little boyโs upcoming 2nd birthday. How about a wonderful cake? Chocolate maybe?
Iโd love to see a recipe for german chocolate cake. Itโs my favorite!
cherry cheesecake!
anything with chocolate or coconut. =)
Canโt decide between Key Lime Pie and German Chocolate Cake. So, pretty please, make both!
Iโd love to see some sort of twist on rhubarb pieโitโs in season and I have SUCH fond memories of straight-up rhubarb pie with minimal sugar so itโs nice and tart, then served with vanilla ice cream. As much as I love it, Iโm looking to try something new and exciting with rhubarb (other than just strawberries)! Iโd love some inspiration :)
You should make a hummingbird cake, or variation of!
Iโd love to see a strawberry rhubarb tart with some kind of almond crust
Hi Joy!
I would love to see either one of two things-
1. I bought gooseberries for the first time last week and need some inspiration
2. I made my grandmothers homemade honey challah today and would love to see someone else give a challah a go!
Go tart pan!
Iโve been trying to work with custards lately. Flan perhaps? Something nice, cool and creamy to combat the oncoming summer heat. :) Thanks for the give-away!
How about key lime bars? I have huge thing for citrus, especially now that the weather is getting warmer.
Hi Joy,
Iโd love for you to bake anything with raspberries. If you can involve chocolate as well, that would be heavenly!
I love utilizing fresh fruit in the summer, so maybe some twists on a fresh fruit tart?
Iโd love to see some more muffin recipes!
Hey Joy,
I came by looking for a rhubarb recipe, so Iโm going to suggest a cake with rhubarb. I already have two tart pans (and I love them) so donโt consider me for the giveaway.
Maybe something lower sugar but still delicious? My ass is growing and I canโt seem to stop it.
i love your whole grain muffinsโฆmaybe some spring like ones?
yummy cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning
Someone suggested peanut butter and chocolate something, but I think dark chocolate brownies with peanut butter swirled throughout should be that โsomething.โ
something with really good dark chocolate but no nuts!
I wonder if I could be more successful with pies with a better panโฆ. Iโd love to try!
Anything lemon โ lemon meringue pie, lemon squares, lemon chess pie, cookiesโฆ. I love lemons and am always on the lookout for a refreshing lemon dessert.
This is perfect. My dear husband brought home fresh strawberries and bananas yesterday.
I would love to see a Spring inspired scone. Yum.
What with summer around the corner, some beautiful pies or fruit tarts will perfectly feature the fruits of the season. And you definitely know how to capture beautiful food!
I was going to say cream puffs until I saw another post above me that said croissants. MMMM!
My mom used to make this awesome pistachio cake โ it was slightly chilled and very green, haha, but delicious nonetheless!
croissants! itโs my goal to make my own from scratch by the end of the summer. i could use a kick-start. and a tart pan, though it has nothing to do with croissants! :)
My request is that you bake something yummy but non-dairy, suitable for a kid to eatโlike a cookie, bar or brownie. Why so specific, yet so vague, you ask? Because Iโm hosting a group of families for a Big Sunday charity event, and I have to bake some treats for my volunteers. But two of the kids have a severe dairy allergy. I am a big fan of butter, so I never bake with shortening if I can avoid it. But I bought both organic shortening and some organic coconut oil, thinking I might make some substitutions. However, Iโm not sure what might be good. Okay, Iโm paralyzed. So Iโm hoping you can give me some good suggestionsโplease?
Thanks! Oh, and Iโd love a shot at the tart pan :)
Hmmmโฆ I absolutely adore almonds so anything almond would be awesome! what about those little Greek almond cookies full of butter and almondy goodnessโฆor maybe a rich golden marzipan cake!!
Hmmโฆ this is tough but Iโd love to see your take on the brookie (brownie & cookie)like the ones they make at Baked NY.
Mmmm, I second the request for a Mississipi Mud Pie!
a fruit tart, with recipe, so I can know what to do with that soon to be mine tart pan.
A key lime tart would be perfect for spring.
I would like to see the craziest, most decadent, elaborate cake everโฆthat also happens to taste good. I have been thinking about this one lately and would love to see what you come up with :)
Iโd like to see something with peaches or maybe a vegan icecream mmm or an avacado icecream nummy!!
I would love to see your take on coconut cream pie! Everyone I know makes it from a mix โ and I know you can work your magic to make something from scratch that would be heavenly!
Derby pie. Itโs ever so delicious. Please?
I once made a chocolate tofu cake with a cous cous chocolate bottom layerโฆ it was incrediable.. you could try something like that, put your own great spin on it.. I am new to your site, but I am loving the recipes that I have tried so far!
How about some sort of a vanilla/lemon custard & blueberry tart? Thatโs what Iโve been craving to bake, but I donโt have a tart pan!
Hmmm you already inspired me for a custard cream and strawberries tart! Itโs soooo spring
Sbrisbalona (spelling?)โฆan italian almond โcookieโ that is so delicious!
Sbrisolona!!
Iโve been thinking waffles today. And mangoes. Mmmmโฆ Iโm also thinking I would love a bright, shiny tart pan. Who knows what adventures it would bring to my kitchen?
A few years back Womenโs Day had a strawberry chocolate tarte that my mother made. It didnโt set very well boy it didnโt matter. It still tasted heavenly (and why wouldnโt chocolate taste heavenly?!). Iโll get the recipe for you and you can make that (and with my new tart pan, I can make one too!!).
Strawberry cheesecake in your new tart pan w/ blackberry sauce (yum) or scalloped potatoes (I have tried 2 times and just cant get it right)
Thanks-
<3 sidney
Banana Cream Pie? That would be yummy!
something with fresh strawberries since they are fully in season now :) thanks! Maureen
Oh man, Iโd love to see your version of one of my familyโs personal favorites, the french silk pie. So easy to make and so smoothly-chocolaty delicious to put between your teethโฆ yeah, french silk pie. I love your choice of recipes, always, so no matter what you pick to make youโre good to go as far as Iโm concerned!
Iโve been in the mood for a key lime pie lately โ could I make a key lime tart? that sounds promising
I want to make a salted caramel tart covered in dark chocolate โ yum! And I donโt have a tart pan yet!
some sort of caramelly (if that is a word!), nutty, luscious, cheesecakey sort of thing. Even better if it is in cute individual servings!
Would love a โJoy the Bakerโ German chocolate cake recipe. My momโs birthday is Tuesday and I have offered to make her favorite cake, but I canโt just make any โole German chocolate cake. It needs to be special. It needs to be the best.
I have been looking for some fabulous mint frosted brownies for almost 30 years.. which is when my mom lost her recipe just after my 4th birthday!
What about a frozen cheesecake?? Maybe a mocha flavor..? That would be reallly good. Iโve been craving something like that for a while.
I would like you to make something spring inspired with rhubarb!
Iโd love to see a gingerbread biscotti.
a dark chocolate orange tart, please. would love a dark chocolate kumquat tartโฆ if kumquats were available here! somedayโฆ
cheers,
*heather*
I was looking for such a tart pan this week (and never found one!)
Tarte tatin.
I would love more muffin recipes! I feel like Iโm making a sweet treat then but theyโre usually healthier than cakes and true desserts! :)
Omg..this is awesome!! Love ya blog;]
I once had a chocolate chip cookie tart recipe. Lost the recipe, would love the pan!
Well, this could go 2 ways.
Maybe you could do a vanilla/vanilla cake or cupcake recipe, something plain but give it something special that makes it over the top?
Iโm a huge vanilla fan and a huge fan of your blog :)
My last post โ I meant Nanaimo bars. Brain is not working at full capacity today.
Iโd love to see you tackle some of your former projects with whole wheat flour and natural sweeteners. Thanks, Joy, love the site!
Oh, I would love to see something sweet and tasty to serve to my family for our Sunday morning breakfast. Cinnamon buns? Popovers? Scones? Something you can pop in the oven and serve with some homemade citrus jam, fruit salad and good cheese!
I can already imagine the wonderful thing I could bake with this tart pan!!!
Maybe try something from my beloved Canada โ butter tarts. Or Neapolitan bars. :-)
Rich, buttery brioche. Especially in cinnamon rolls.
I would love a strawberry tart of some kind!
Joy! You mind reader, you! I was actually just telling my boyfriend how much I would adore a tart pan. I was attempting to make the strawberry, banana & custard pie you made the other day, but had to opt for a graham cracker crust instead because of my lack of tart pan. Oh, the french apple tarts, french chocolate cream pies and quiches I could make with such a lovely thingโฆ the possibilities are endless.
Your blog brightens my day and inspires me to make delicious things (especially when I should be studying, silly law schoolโฆ)
I would love to see something fresh with lemon and honey. Maybe a tart? Maybe a teeny tiny tart? French macaroons?
What about a white chocolate cake of some sort, maybe with fresh strawberries???
Something Bananas Foster-ish!
Ooh Iโd love to make a dark chocolate banana cream pie with butterscotch chips!
I would love to see a scone recipe. One thatโs not too sweet or too heavy :)
Some sort of chocolate cake would be awesome! Itโs my favorite dessert, at least.
Yum. Strawberry rhubarb tart. I have been searching for one like this!!
How about a Mississippi Black Bottom Mud Pie?
Iโm not sure if youโve ever been to Ici in Berkeley, but they make the most wonderful Meyer Lemon ice cream. A lot of lemon ice creams are tart and nearly taste like a sorbet, but at Ici, they manage to make the ice cream lemon-y AND creamy at the same time. Itโs so delicious. Iโd love to learn how to make something similar.
Hmmmโhow about any recipe that doesnโt require a hand-mixer? Or a chocolate pudding that uses cocoa powder? some sort of brown-sugar cookie?
Iโm sure itโll be great, whatever it is. And now Iโm hungry.
Hmmโฆ something with pumpkin and strawberries?
Berry Trifle? Coconut cream pie? Anything! :)
Costco sells a delicious fruit tart with a creamy filling.. perhaps you can recreate it?
I love it when you share recipes youโve learned from your dad-like those divine dinner rolls you did a while back. Family recipes are fun, nostalgic and personal. Pretty convincing argument, huh?
I know you are the perfect gal to help me with this. Here is your inspiration: lavender.
I am at a loss of what to do with my delicious smelling, yet unopened, bottle of dried lavender. I think it could be amazing and springy and pretty and bold and subtle and perfectโฆ but how?
How about my favourite English teatime treat, Eccles cakes! Theyโre dried fruit and pastry and yum yum yum. Or have you ever done rock cakes? Again English, again with dried fruit (youโd think us Brits were obsessed with preserved ingredientsโฆ) and again yum! Would LOVE that tart tin. Sorry, tart pan :)
how about some sort of muffins with cardamom? Youโre a genius, youโll figure out something! Thanks for the amazing blog!
Something with mulberries? Iโve only ever encountered the scent in candles, but I bet they taste delicious. And Iโve only seen them in a recipe once or twice, so itโd be new and original!
I just had a coconut bavarian cream at a restaurant that was delicious! It could be fun to try at home.
Iโm thinking some savory muffins would be awesome.
Hi Joy โ I just came across your awesome site and had a little chuckle because I am Joi the Baker! tee hee
Love your site and all your creative baking wizardry.
I just got myself my own spring form pan. I used to use momโs but I moved away. It wasnโt convenient to drive 1300 miles to get it. All my favorite spring form recipes just werenโt the same without momโs pan. I love mine โ itโs actually a square pan. So my suggestion for you โ savory cheesecake recipes. I love cheesecake and love to go crazy creating clever crust and cake concoctions. Right now I am interested in a savory style. What have you got up your sleeve for me??? ;)
Berry Crumble, maybe without oats? I would love to see how you would put a spin on it!
Thanks for everything Joy!
I still havenโt tried that no-roll pie dough, I really need to get on that! I would love to see a pizza dough recipe (and if thereโs already one, then you rock even more and forget I said anything :-) ). Are you a thin-crust girl, or deep-dish?
How about something donut-like thatโs not fried? Iโve seen some intriguing โdonut muffinโ recipes around, but Iโd love to see your take on it!
I really enjoy your website. I would really like for you make something either peanut butter and chocolate or something pumpkin (even though itโs not the right time of year for pumpkin :) Thanks for treating someone to a tart pan!
Cool Joy! Another contest! Although just having my idea picked is the ultimate prizeโฆ Hmmmโฆ How about an amazing bread, like the British kind, with little or no sugar and the big head crown but with your taste bud twist, maybe some fresh herbage and oven dried tomatoes?
Our blueberries are starting to come into season in our garden, how about a blueberry and lemon upside down cake? Our lemon tree should have some ripe fruit by summer :o)
Whoeverโs idea you choose will be FAB!
*love*
My favourite dessert ever is creme brulee, so I would request that! But.. maybe with a twist? I do love mangoes and strawberries.. can you work your magic???
OR, one of my coworkers has been raving since Day 1 about some butterscotch cake that he had once in his life but he was never able to successfully track down. Could you make one that would make him forget all about that one?
I would love for you to make any cake of your choice with a delicious homeade carmel frosting! My grandmother used to make a yellow cake with some type of banana filling in between the layers and then carmel icing. Oh man was it goodโฆthe bad part is that I did not make sure that I got the recipe from her and now she is gone.
i am inspired by all of your ideas. i used to have a chef for a roommate and she would make beautiful LEMON CREME SCONESโฆ if you wanted to try those?!
also i am looking for SUGAR FREE RECIPES as a healthy alternative to my yummy favorites. maybe using agave or honey.
thank you
thank you
thank you
:)
Beer cupcakes! With a nice smooth cream cheese icing. Itโs dark and full of rich flavor without being overwhelmingly sugary. And it has Guinness in it!!
Maybe something based on an Eton Mess. That would be yummy. You could bake the meringue in the tart pan.
fruit pizza with a crust that isnโt just rolled out cookie dough from a tube, and a frosting that actually tastes good to go on top!
Key Lime Pie! Mmmm.
Strawberries are EVERYWHERE here in Florida, so much that I had to freeze all the ones my mom brought me after she went strawberry picking with my father. I hope to take them out soon and make up some sort of strawberry pieโฆ???
Iโve been thinking of making a Peach Green Tea or Spumoni cupcake to add to my menu. Iโd love to see your take on those flavour ideas.
Sarahโs idea (response 322) for a caramelized onion and cauliflower tart sounds absolutely delicious as well! Preferably with lots of gooey cheese. Mmmmm.
Croque en bouche!!
Iโm having a vision of a strawberry-rhubarb tart. rhubarb jam-sweetened cream cheese, fresh sliced strawberries, rhubarb jam glaze, all on a buttery shortbread-type crust. Ready, go!
recipes using rhubarb and different berries
Iโve been dying to try this recipe for a pear and almond tart.
almond and honey scones! I got some almond honey cream cheese at Einstinโs bagel and it tasted great, I imagine the flavor would translate well into a scone (and would be even better spread with jam!)
I second the plea for chocolatey cake! I wanted to bake a cake the other day in honor of David Tennantโs birthday, but I couldnโt find the right recipe!
In other news, Iโm planning to make Smitten Kittenโs jam tart soon, and I donโt have a tart panโฆ.
Having just planted strawberries in my yard, and watch as they poke their little green strawberry heads sunwardโฆ Iโd like to try a strawberry tart!
Itโs also taken me 27 and 1/4 years to still NOT have a tart pan. I need this in my life!!! Iโd love to see another tart with a different crust and fresh fruit. Love your recipes.
Dang! There were only 45 comments last I checked.
How about something with booze like a mojito or margarita tart! Ooh, mango margarita tartโฆI would totally make that if you created it. Either could be a key lime pie base, but with added liquor/flavorings (rum + steeped mint leaves or tequila + mango nectar). Yum..?
quiche!
coconut cream pie!
something besides pie/crisp that involves strawberries and rhubarb!
Some kind of easy, yummy dinner rollsโฆ something like Pillsbury crescent rolls, only without the trans-fat, processed-nastiness :~)
One simple (or perhaps not-so-simple?) word: croissants.
Souffle! I made one for my mom for her birthday last weekend, it was actually a success. Iโd love to see a chocolate souffle recipe withe a Joy spin on it! :)
Hi Joy! Iโd love to see you whip up anything with a summer-y lemon flavor! Thanks!
I think if I had had a kitchen I should try a lemon chiffon cake. Doesnโt that sound nice? Or a marbled vanilla and coffee pound cake that looks like a cathedral when it comes out of the bundt pan. . . oh, if only I had a kitchen! Summer come quickly please!
Some kind of seasonal fruit upside down cake. With some kind of interesting combination of herb to keep it interesting.
I just got a baking job at the coffee shop at my college so Iโm looking for some good seasonal dessert recipes! A strawberry rhubarb pie recipe would be FANTASTIC.
Iโm thinking about a quiche or maybe something mango flavoredโฆ
Anything with strawberries- I canโt seem to get them off my pregnant mind!
I know it is by no means King Cake season (which falls, as I remember, from Epiphany to Mardi Gras Day, so, uh, a while ago), but Iโd love to see you try a New Orleans-style King Cake, either traditional or non-traditional.
The best non-traditional King Cake Iโve had was an apple and goat cheese filling โ very non-traditional! I may try and replicate that in muffin form this summer when I get home from university. In New Orleans, if that part wasnโt easy to figure out from the King Cake bit. :)
I would love for some more avocado inspired desserts. The choco cupcakes were amazingโฆ maybe perhaps some vanilla or coconut cupcakes using the avocados?? YUM!!!!!!!
A butterscotch brownie pie- or anything with butterscotch for that matter!
A light spring or summer quiche that uses the best of a backyard vegetable/fruit and herb garden.
Some sort of spice cake(cupcake) with rum/bourbon cream cheese frosting
A layer cake!
A sโmores pie! Chocolate cookie crust, marshmallow filling, and a light, broiled meringue topping!!!
I am starting to see more rhubarb in the store so would love something yummy to bake with it!
Something with chocolate and peanut butter. My favourite flavour combination. Just seeing photos of things you bake helps alleviate my intense PB cravings!
Oh, or lemon tarts, cause theyโre fancy and French!
Key lime tart!
Anything with lemons! Something tart and tangy and delicious. No pressure! :)
Joy, you were the subject of a fabulous discussion in the checkout line at the grocery store here in Columbia, SC. Last week, three total strangers (myself included) were all waxing eloquent about how much we love your site, your recipes and your wit!
How about baking some sort of savory bread pudding that could be served for dinner with a little salad?
Iโm baking bread todayโฆyum. That tart pan really needs to come to my house for some other kind of yumminess! I would really like to see some kind of key lime cake or breadโฆthat sounds delish!
an almond tart
Anything with strawberries, please!
Mmmmโฆ take a break from baking and make a no-bake Oreo cream pie. Some whip cream, jello and of course some Oreos. It was one of my favorite childhood desserts, probably because I could make it on my own. Thanks.
You know, I was going to come up with something, but now I just want to see the brownie pie!
In keeping with the pie theme and in honor of being on the brink of summer, what about a s`mores pie? Chocolate moussey, graham-crackery, marshmallowy thing? With lots of buttery crust.
I would love to see some delicious tarts and the like that celebrate strawberry season. My local self-pick strawberry place is finally open and I am going to be swimming in fresh strawberries.
a rum cake!!!
quiche. chocolate cake. lemon tarts. anything yummy!
ice cream cake! summer canโt come soon enough! time for some hot fudge, ice cream, peanuty, crushed oreo goodness! YUM!
Joy, I would love to hear your take on a trifle! What cake you would use, what sort of custard or creams or fruit combination!
mmmmmmmmmm letโs make a banana rum cream pie
Hi โ I never thought of using a tart pan instead of rolling out pie crusts. What a greast idea!!!! I would fix a strawberry pie. This is a great giveaway. I would love to win this. I have got to have one of these and retire the rolling pin & pie plates!
I would like to bake a strawberry and kiwi tartโฆ..
pizza! or pasta! I love both very much and would love some new recipes for them
Hi Joy! Awesome Tart pan!
While I would love to win, I actually would rather see you make one of the two following items.
I am currently in the process of hunting down a great Orange Cake recipe. My plan: to make Orange cupcakes with Your amazing Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting (from the Red Velvet Cupcakes post). I cannot decide on a light and fluffy cake or the more classic dense moist cake. The plan is to recreate a Cinnamon Roll with Orange Glaze (a weakness my girlfriend has). So Challenge #1 make an Orange cake or cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting.
The second is not nearly as adventurous, but more important. My little sister is graduating from High School this June. I will be making her a cake and she wants a Yellow Cake with Real Strawberry filling and Italian Buttercream. I plan to use either the Best Yellow Cake recipe Deb posted on SmittenKitchen OR the Vanilla Buttermilk Cake in Sky High Cakes. I am very familiar with Italian Buttercream. What I need help with is making a great fresh tasting Strawberry filling.
So Challenge #2 make Strawberry filling, with a few restrictions. No gelatin (3 vegetarians will be eating this cake), NO dairy, and help deciding on whether frozen Strawberries will hurt the fresh taste. The worry I have is that the filling will seep into the cake and make it soggy without gelatin to help firm it up.
So my challenges are fruityโฆvery spring appropriate.
I would really like any help you could offer, but would LOVE to see you make one of these items.
:)
Deese
How about a good old fashioned blueberry cobbler โ but in tart form?
I love your website and pictures! Thanks for the inspiration :-)
Oooo, a chocolate tart. I was just thinking I really need one of these.
Love all the fruity things and Jodie is pretty funny but definitely on my wave length. Chocolate yes.
But how about honey, pecans, maybe orange or apricot or pineappleโฆsweet roll or bread.
Anything that includes fruit. It helps me justify the calories. ( โ :
i vote for rhubarb & pistachio cupcakes. random, but i bet delicious!
A berry pavlova would be the perfect spring dessert this weekend. Dunka!
Key Lime Pie!
Something fruity! Strawberries!
Hi Joy! I had a delicious mango flavored (with mango chunks) cupcake this week with cream cheese frostingโฆ can you figure out how to replicate that? That would be awesome!
I would like to see mini-black forest cakes!
The worldโs biggest Creme Brulee? No, that wonโt work. Iโll go with something a bit more tropical. Coconut creme, Orange meringue? Heck, youโre the brilliant one here โ thatโs why *you* post and *I* comment. Thanks for the giveaway.
A frittata!
Lemon / Lavender tart. I love the flavor combo and want to see more ways to use it!
Oh yummy! Any thing with cream cheese please! Iโd love to win thisโฆ and if I donโtโฆ. Iโll just have to buy one! Because I never thought of that pie crust short cut! Awesome!
Ooooh, tart pan. So pretty. I want to make a chocolate silk tart. And a peach or nectarine tart. And something with oooooodles of berries.
What about something summery? Like a lemon/berry tart?
Something heavenly with lavender and honey. Yum!
Hi Joy,
The rhubarb is coming up in my yard. Please show me tasty ways to bake with rhubarb!
ooooh i would lOVE the tart pan, and i would also LOVE some rhubarb recipes to celebrate their amazing goodness this time of year! :)
xo
emmy
Chili Chocolate Ice cream. I had some Chili Chocolate milk at this awesome little place in San Francisco, and thought it would be amazing as an Ice cream. YUMMY!
I saw a recipe for a chocolate raspberry tart recently that looked heavenly, but this time of year I think a flan with fresh fruit from the farmerโs market would be divine!
Itโs lovely! Iโve been thinking about getting one of these myself for awhile, but just havenโt gotten there yet. Iโd love to see you bake/make something candy-likeโฆ.nothing that requires the scary candy thermometer and boiling sugarโฆ.just something that would nicely wrap up in a box for teacher gifts at the end of the year!
I just found your site and love it!! I am loving strawberry season right now, so anything with strawberries in it sounds good to meโฆ Strawberry pie, strawberry cake with fresh strawberry buttercream, strawberry ice cream. Yummy!
if you donโt have to use this tart pan for inspiration, I would love to see some sort of granola bar? I am addicted to Fiber 1 bars, and need to find a way to make my own. If you could include some flavor suggestions too. I love peanut butter, coconut almond and maybe one with cranberry nut?
thanks for offering the giveaway Joy!

Hello Joyful Bakerโฆand you are so joyful sounding. Some time ago I made your avocado bread. Got me thinkingโฆin New Zealand we eat a lot of scones in lots of different flavours. I think an avocado scone with bacon and pistachio sounds really yummyโฆbut Iโm too chicken to tackle that one on my own. Whadya think? can you take that one on as a challenge?
I would love something new and outside the box with strawberries and rhubarb! I loooove strawberry rhubarb pieโฆbut Iโd love to see something new and fun to do with them!
Also last night I dreamt about creamy mandarin orange jello- (orange sherbet, cool whip, orange jello, and mandarin orange sections) maybe you have a wonderful recipe with mandarin oranges to cool my orange craving!
Mmmmm fruit tarts! I am getting hungry already for sweet treats and itโs only 11am! I do not have a tart pan yet. I so love that you do these kinds of giveaways!! Thanks Joy!
Mango Ricotta Turnovers with Honey Glaze? Mangoes are in season and eating local honey helps fight off pollen! Plus, itโs just and excellent combo.
I recently tried some lavender shortbread and thought they were awesome. They also got me thinking that rosemary shortbread could be pretty awesomeโฆ or even with basil. Iโd love to see what you have to say about cookies with herbs in them.
OR
Iโve been seeing a lot about macarons and how โscaryโ they are but they look DELISH. Whats a good basic recipe for them? Why are they so scary?
OR ( I have a million ideas obviously)
How about some cute and dainty little petit fours?
Could you do something that you donโt bake? I realize this goes against the prompt a bit, itโs just that Iโm currently studying abroad and only have access to 2 hot plates โ no oven! I really miss baking and would love more recipes that imitate the experience without the use of the wonderful box of heat! Alas, less then 2 months until Iโm in baking heaven once again. Canโt decide whether that is good or bad!
How about lemon bars? The weather is gross and rainy today, so Iโm craving something that tastes like Summer and sunshine.
Oh I would love a tart pan with a removable bottom!
I have a boy Iโm trying to impressโฆ
A boy who just happens to like blackberries. I need a Joy the Baker boy-inspired creation!
โฆmmm a yummy fruit flan sounds delicious! Maybe you could switch it up with some unusual ingredients.
Umm maybe something chocolaty with fruit or maybe a even quiche! I dont have one but it looks like something one needs to have! Thanks
Rachel
Iโve got both rhubarb and peaches in my freezer that need to be used up before we move in a month, so Iโd love inspiration for either of those ingredients!
Great giveaway!
Ive been meaning to ask you if you have a great recipe for chocolate cinnamon cookies. There is a great little bakery here in Scottsdale that has this dense chewy chocolate cinnamon cookie that is fantastic but in all my searches I have never found anything that sounds similar. Itโs thick, almost a full inch, as though they were dropped by large scooped ball but they dont really flatten out. Chocolate is so delicious mixed with cinnamon.
Berries and Cream, a perfect summer treat!
Something sweet sounds divine but has triggered a yearning for somethings savory.. a nice french ham, gruyere, asparagus, and maybe roasted shallots, or better yet leeks!! mmmmmmmmmโฆ..
A chocolate tart! Something with gooey caramel, nuts and chocolate. Donโt be blinded by all this fruit tart talk! :)
Avocado Coconut Ice Cream please!
I totally need one of these. I would bake up the strawberry cream pie, sounds so good. I love every recipe on your blog, thanks so much for putting it out there for us all to enjoy.
neat! i would make fruit tart :]
For some reason, I would love to see you make a souffle. Legend has it that these things are awfully finicky, but I imagine you would crack the code and demystify it for us. It would certainly give me the necessary courage to attempt one!
Rhubarb Crisp!
Thank you Joy, for your amazing blog filled with incredible foods! Your photos are beautiful and I look forward to every post! XO
I had put something already but then it didnt go through for some reason. Something lemon. Iโm feeling lemony. Since my mocha cake post didnt go through I am now boycotting mocha cake. Ooooh or lime. Iโm sure lime tart is possible. WOuldnt that be good!
Something bright and refreshing, with citrus and berries and flowers. Something that tastes like spring. :)
Oh, definitely a mixed berry tart. :)
Everythingโs wonderful and in-season!
I would love to see you make a different strawberry shortcake something.
Staring at my lemon tree right nowโฆIโm thinking lemon tart!
Anything with Rhubarb! I want to do something with it other than a crisp!
Something with granola and berries, my two favoritest things.
Oooh, something with strawberries! Maybe strawberries and meringue?
Raspberry and white chocolate pots? Yum. Or anything with raspberries. Or white chocolate. If you donโt, I will! x
How about a spongy sheet cake that would make a good base for all the fresh berries that will be coming in to season soon. Something that will soak up those divine juicesโฆ.
I love your cupcake concoctions so how about some spring-inspired cupcakesโlike lavendar or berry or lemon? Mmmmmm. p.s. thanks for recommending โOrganic & Chic.โ I have loved all of the recipes so far!
A fruit pizza would be delightful!
Berry/rhubarb oat squares aka pieces of heaven. Thereโs a little market by me that sells these and Iโve been trying (unsuccessfully) to replicate them. I bet you could. I could even send you one from Canada to tryโฆ although you might become addicted to them (and trying to recreate them) too.
Everything you make looks so delicious! How about something using apricots? Maybe dried or reconstituted or even jam. Apricot dessert reminds me of my childhood and summer :)
Blueberry lemon tart!
h?mmm may be rainbow cake with step by step photos ??? or lemon desserts(like tarte au citron)???? There may be different and all delicious recipes :)
Pistachio mousse! Yumyumyum.
Something delicious and chocolate!
Something with bananas and peanut butter. This combo is not capitalized on nearly enough! Maybe some kind of pb banana brownie or quick breadโฆor even a creamy pb banana tart??
something with rhubarbโฆmmmm
I would love to see you make some petit fours. Iโve always wanted a good but not too difficult recipe for petit fours for girly parties like wedding showers and such. Thanks!
Bake something lemony โ Iโm craving something tart but sweet and would love to read all about it. :)
Anything lemony and berryish. Yum!
Iโd looove to bake up a caramelized onion and cauliflower tart! Or maybe a breakfast quicheโฆ.
Something that involves strawberries that Iโm growing in the backyard and whipped cream!
I would like to see a fruit pizza tart or something nice and lemony :)
MhmโฆMaybe some scones? Or ice cream.
Anything that brings out the flavor of dark chocolate and coffee all in one!
Letโs see, I think a brownie and cookie dough concoction sounds nice.
We werenโt supposed to say something you could bake with a tart pan, were we? Because I would love to see you bake chocolate lava cake. Or croissants. Or morning buns. Yes, that sounds soo deliciousโฆFor some reason, Iโve been having this morning bun obsession, so I would loooove to see you bake some. Om nom nom..
Yum. :)
Perhaps something savory with bacon! Or if you want to go with fruit, maybe a blueberry tart with meringues?
Strawberry TartโฆMy favoriteโฆ:)
I think something new and creative has to be done with rhubarbโฆ something outside of the pie/tart world. Rhubarb ice cream anyone?
Something with mascarpone cheese and/or mint!
I made your strawberry banana pie when I introduced my parents to my boyfriends parentsโฆ and lets just say we all bonded happily over yummy strawberry goodness!
Well itโs berry season & thatโs something that we all have to embrace so strawberries are the first things that come to mind. I would love to see you make a Strawberry Charlotte Cake! Iโve never found a good recipe for one. As cool as the cake would be it would be even cooler if you could make Strawberry Charlotte Cupcakes!
Strawberry and Rhubarb tart with some lemon zest!
something with fruit for summer! Iโd love to make a recipe with peaches, maybe a peaches and cream dessert!
What aboutโฆ.Persimmon/lemon tartโฆyum!
peach crisp. thatโs not exactly a tart. but itโs what iโm craving at the moment :)
wow, everyone has such good ideas!!! now IโM inspired :) my brother and i came up with mango and strawberry cobbler (cuz it might be too juicy for pie). with nice fluffy clouds of barely sweet biscuits, maybe sprinkled with lemon sugar, yumโฆ donโt forget the whipped cream <3
I love my tart pans. I have one 10โณ tart pan that I liked but then I found a 10โณ deep dish tart pan that I have been using for almost everything. I donโt think I will ever use a pie pan again.
great giveaway! i want a tart pan SO badly!
i would love to see a pastry recipe that includes pastry cream and apples. i recently ate an apple pastry at a local bakery and the pastry cream was SO good!
thanks for doing this giveaway!
I love these pans!
The tarts look really beautiful!
I would love to see something with citrus fruitsโฆ.to bring us out of our dreary winter weather! Thanks!
Passion fruit pie. Like key lime pie โ only better. Had it first in Costa Rica and have never managed to replicate it.
Iโve got about 4 packages of frozen blackberries in my freezer, and 4 packages of cream cheese in the fridge. I want to do something with them that isnโt cheesecake or a muffin. If you made something along those lines, Iโd be a happy banana,
I would love to see something that would be fun and easy to make with a group of kids. I work at our local Boys & Girls club and am always looking for something i can make with a small group of kids. Thank you so much for sharing your baking experiences. You have been helpful in my stagnate baking lately.^_^
Joy, I just recently discovered your site AND I just recently discovered my lovelovelove for baking. Itโs been such a blessing!
I would love if you could bake something rainbow-oriented. Iโve been baking rainbow cupcakes left and right but Iโm looking for something new. Youโre so creative!
Thanks a lot for sharing your passion with the world. :)
Oh, Iโd LOVE to have this tart pan! How about something tart & lemony? A treat similar to Lemon Barsโฆbut in tart form. Perhaps adding some blueberries or other fruit?
Canโt wait!
Mmmm! Brownie pie sounds amazing!!! I would love to see eclairs and/or cream puffs =)
Anything with lemon or strawberries or BOTH!
I would love to see you do a flourless chocolate tart or cake. Heavy, rich and delicious.
I recently had a dessert that involved puff pastry, rosemary, and lemon. I loved it! Iโve been thinking about the lemon/rosemary combo since, and Iโm willing to bet you could create something smashing with that flavor profile!
a lime tart of some kindโฆshortbread style crust maybe? Iโm ready for summer!
Oooooo. I love tarte tatin.
mmmmm how to make a dairy queen blizzard at home! or. BLIZZARD PIE. MMMMM.
Fresh fig and plum tart with almond custard.
Iโm thinking a fresh strawberry rhubarb tart with a lemon-brown sugar glaze. howโs that for inspiration?
I would love to see you bake a Hummingbird Cake. Iโve heard they are very time consuming and not terribly easy. Iโve always wanted to make one, but have been afraid of trying and failingโฆLOL!
banana cream pie or chocolate cream pie or lemon cream pie or strawberry cream pieโฆ.:)
Hmm, something with rhubarb. strawberry rhubarb pie? classicโฆ stawberry rhubarb ice cream!
I love fruit pizza as it is sometimes called. You know, cookie dough on the bottom, fruity goodness on top. HOw about that one? thanks!

Iโve really been wanting to make lemon whoopie pies with a rasberry cream fillingโฆ.YUUUUUMMMMMM
Iโm craving anything with bananas or lemons in it! Iโm interested to see what you come up with.
You should make something that contains apples and raisins. Those are kind of my favorite ingredients.
I also tried a bowl of slightly mascerated strawberries with black pepper and dynamite good balsamic last night. I tried it just for kicks and it was so so good. Iโm thinking it could be translated into some sort of strwaberry shortcake thing. Just donโt know howโฆ
Something lemon-y and summery! Fun!
I think that with such a classy pan I would do a savory dish like a classic quiche with seasonal fresh veggies like asparagus and gruyere cheese, of course the crust must be perfect with a pate brise, lots of heavy cream and butterโฆ.perfect for sunday brunch!
Since I love cookie dough ice cream I would love a sticky doughy pie with chocolate chunks. Yum!
Chocolate Cheesecake!
Ooh โ anything with fresh berries. Iโm so excited for it to be berry season again!
Or pina colada tart, with coconut, pineapple, rum, and loads and loads of whipping cream & toasted coconut on topโฆyum!
Ohh, how perfect. I have lost my tart pan (how does one lose a tart pan?) and have been dreaming of some sort of rhubarb tart. Something nutty and grainy and sweet-tart rhubarby.
Something decadently chocolate. Iโm not picky, any chocolate will do. A flourless chocolate cake, perhaps?
A big beautiful birthday cake! My birthday is on Sunday and I still havenโt decided what cake to makeโyes Iโm crazy and want to make my own cake :)
Rhubarb Crisp Tart! :)
I have wanted a tart pan for ages, but it always seemed like a luxury item, so iโve put it off. i would make a lemon tart with fresh blueberries, once my bushes start ripening! and a million other fancy tarty things afterwards.
I would love one of these. Iโd probably makes something involving oreoโs or peanut butter. My husbands favoriteโฆ.and his birthday is just around the corner.
A fancy French style fruit tart sounds good, now that you mention it! But my next bookmarked dessert is your strawberry and banana cream pie!

OOOOOO! What a great little prize! I want it!!! :-) As for a recipe โ ANYTHING sweet and decadent!
Anything chocolate. Maybe something with Chocolate and Strawberries.
Also, I happen to be 28 3/4 and donโt have a tart pan, so youโre ahead of me! :)
Hi there Joy!
Living through long Ohio winters on Lake Erie, I dream of paradise and try to recreate it in my kitchen! (Looking at now of course;) With a new tart pan, I would love to whip up a mango and coconut custard tart! Maybe with a hint of cinnamon, who knows!
I can picture a dark chocolate cream pie in that pan.
How about a classic Tarte Tatin?? Apples arenโt really my thing so how aboutโฆ a pear, banana.. mango??
Chess pie.
A deep dark chocolate cake that is shortening free! I had jumbo cupcakes at my wedding instead of the traditional wedding cake, which I spent the day before making and until 3 AM the day of my wedding frosting! One of the kinds was this awesome uber dark chocolate cupcake made with Criscoโฆsince then Iโve done what I can not to eat partially hydrogenated oils which Crisco isโฆso what to do about that wicked dark, super moist, wedding day love kind of chocolate cake. =D
I love the idea of something savory as well, a savory tart or quiche with lots of veggies in it, or maybe a bread? I know itโs warming up but Iโm still willing to turn on the oven to bake. Yum. Now Iโm hungryโฆ
i have been on a lemon bar kick lately, so you should make something lemony!!
I love to bake. I was planning on making a banana pie tomorrow and a chocolate pie next week. Great giveaway!
Iโve actually been wanting to buy a tart pan for a long time now. I just havenโt found the perfect oneโฆiโm kinda picky about bakeware.
I would really like you to bake a chocolate cheesecake. I was searching for a recipe the other day, but I couldnโt find a good one.
Hmmm letโs see. I would like you to bakeโฆsomething with rhubarb!
Joy you should totally make double chocolate truffle cream tart in that pan!! I hope that is inspiration for ya!! I would love a shiny new tart pan! And chocolate? What is not to love!!! Take care and keep up the great work with your website!!
What about a coconut cream tart โ yumโฆ
Could you bake some sort of fruity, quirky muffin? Strange request, I know. But, you always have innovative recipes!
I love secret weapons! And I love your โunexpected ingredientโ recipes like the avocado pound cake. Can you make something fun and interesting with radishes?? I always have so many of those this time of year. Maybe a cheesy radish-y tart or some sort? Iโll leave it up to your genius baking mindโฆ
Brownie Pie sounds amazing! Iโm definitely looking forward to that.
I always make a Cranberry Chocolate Tart for Christmas, itโs my favorite tart recipe!
https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Cranberry-Chocolate-Tart-240427
Anything lemon!!!! And I have also resisted buying a tart pan- but I love this one with the removable insert. Thanks thanks thanks!
Summery tarts with your lovely pan? Thanks for the chance to win!
iโm in the mood for some kind of frozen yogurt.. is it possible to make something like that without an icecream maker of sorts? mm :)
Anything with a lot of cinnamon!
I want a good fruit pizza recipe!
Hmm, red velvet cupcake with rich and sweet cream cheese frosting. Yum yum
I have been craaaaaving crumb cake lately!
I saw a chocolate made on Unwrapped the other night called P2C2 (P squared C squared) and have scoured the net looking for a like recipe..it had chocolate, peanut butter, potato crisps and caramel. It looked amazing!!! Maybe you have a similar concoction up your sleeve?
Cream puffs with a twist of your choosing like a different filling or something tasty like thatโฆ
Classic and my favoriteโฆ yellow cake with chocolate frosting
My next step as an amateur baker is to makeโฆwell, some out of the ordinary creations. Like a โChocolate Chip Cookie Pieโ, in which the tart pan would definitely come in handy!
Iโve recently begun to explore more baking, and I have cake pans and bread pans, but I donโt have a tart pan! One of these days, Iโd love to make a GOOD tart de tatin. Growing up, my brother was always the one with talent in the kitchen (he still is) and would just decide to try a recipe or two. One year, he totally swept the South Texas 4-H District Baking Competition with his tart. Iโve obviously never gotten over it.
When I was a kid, my mom would pick up the most delicious spice cake at the neighborhood bakery. It was shaped like an angel food cake (yumโฆangel food cake!) but it was a spice cake with a drizzle of glazed sugar on top. Sooooo delish! I have just started baking inspired by your blog Joy! Thank you for sharing your baking wisdom ;)
I just got a new madeleine pan, so I want to try those. Theyโre so pretty!
Zucchini bread? Ideas on what to make my mom for Motherโs day? Waffles? Canโt wait to see what you pick!
Rhubarbโs almost in season. Maybe some kind of tasty rhubarb tart or treat with a fruit other than strawberries. I had a rhubarb sorbet last year that knocked my socks off. Iโm still looking for them.
Also, Iโve gone 27 1/2 years without a tart pan, but have a williams sonoma pie and tart cookbook that teases me incessantly. A free tart pan would be the best way for me to show that cookbook whoโs boss.
Iโd love you to bake some fresh berry or stone fruit tarts with vanilla pastry cream for the summer!
sugar cookies!
the possibilities are endless! I would love to see something made with pears and/or cheese. what a beautiful tart pan.
A tart pan! I want one! Iโm from Georgia โ can we make something with peaches? Maybe a fancy cobbler?
I would love to see something refreshing like lime for summertime.
Almost paste tart with a thinly sliced pear on top finished with a sweet glazeโฆ.
More icecream! it makes my world go round.
I have bananas I need to turn into muffins sometime this weekend!
I need a great birthday cake for my mom next week! :)
Vegan angel food cake! Iโm pretty sure itโs impossible on many levels, but Iโd love to see you try.
Cinnamon Rolls!!!
I would love a good cinnamon roll recipe. There are so many out there, I need some help from an experienced baker to weed out a good one!
I really want something with Oranges in it. Something summery, that I can take to a Barbecue. Something that tastes even better than it looks. Something that people will like me for, and want me to bake again. And something that wonโt melt in the sun. :D
I love chess pie. I know you could make a GOOD one!!!!
Here I am, 50 years old (wow, I hate how that sounds) and no tart pan yet! Iโve been unemployed since November and Iโve kept myself busy by cooking, baking and following food blogs like yours (which I love!). I have some strawberry jam just waiting to be turned into a delicious dessert! Or anything lemon, maybe a lemon tart if I win!
Cupcakes with blueberry or raspberry or strawberries (or all of them) on topโฆ yum!
Blueberry Pie, please.
I could go for an ice cream cake or pie!
Whenever I see a shiny new tart pan I think Lemon Tart. Not very creative, I know, but now Iโm craving one!
Mmmm.. My first thought is banana and chocolate pie. My second thought is peanut butter and chocolate pie. I wonder, is there a way to combine both?..
I wanted to make key lime pie lately, but didnโt have a good tart pan (or any good recipe) and now you come around with this giveaway! Iโm keeping my fingers totally crossed for meโฆand a great key lime pie recipe would be also niceโฆ ;-)
Priyaniki! Theyโre a Russian jam-filled cookie/cake-like thing eaten at Easter. I havenโt been able to either find or properly replicate them in the 7 years itโs been since I was in Moscow. They sold them on street corners and such. So delicious with a really nice honey flavor. Yum!
I know exactly what I would make! In this monthโs issue of Bon Appetit there is a recipe for a yummy Bakewell Tart with raspberry preserves. Yup, thatโs what I would make with a shiny new tart pan :-)
i love pecan pie. or how about a carrot cake pie. yummm i love all things carrot cake
Yay for tart pans! This weekend Iโd recommend something light, and as the warmer months begin something that doesnโt require the use of the oven, which heats up the house. Maybe something with pudding?
A pineapple cobbler?! I donโt know if itโs a real recipe (or could be), but sounds like it could be yummy! :)
Iโd love to see some vegan cupcakes. I love your vegan recipes!
i would adore this to fill with a buttery crust and fresh berries that i plan on picking this summer!
Oh! My mom used to make mix-in-the-pan chocolate cake when I was little. Iโd love to see something simple and quick like that, and that doesnโt use a ton of dishes.
Does it have to be baked? I just saw a recipe for fromage blanc in Sunset magazine..and I want it.
Iโd love to see something with chocolate and PB! Yum!
Something with rhubarb will be great :)
I would love to see you cook carrot cake.
Iโm really craving a caramel-laced pear tart, but since I have three batches of lemon curd (from a quest for the perfect recipe) Iโd start out finding something to do with that!
I would love to see (and eventually copy) your version of Mango Cream Pie and Egg Pie.
Iโm so new to baking Joy and everything that I made so far came from your website. Many thanks my teacher ;-)
well, well, wellโฆ.. Here in Brazil it is Star Fruit season!
How about that? A really nice, yummi star fruit tart!
Something savory. Involving eggs. And goat cheese. And parmesan cheese. Maybe some kale. Please.
i just found out i was gluten free, so something gluten free would be nice & fun! iโm learning new techniques.
I would love to see a new take on cinnamon rolls. Can you improve on something already so delicious?
brownie pie sounds delicious!
how about a nice tall fluffy cake?!?
Make a peanut butter-chocolate-chip-banana bread! I love banana bread.. I made your vegan pineapple coconut banana bread last night โ Amazing! Thing is.. I also love peanut with the banana/chocolate combination. You come up with the best recipes, so I think itโs time you came up with a peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread recipe.. my mouth is watering just thinking about the possibility.
Iโm set to make Debโs easy jam tart, maybe some homemade ice cream with it!
I had some fantastic ginger pear gelato yesterday, which makes me think that a ginger pear tart in such a pan as this would be perfect! I attempted one of these a couple years ago, and the crust was โrusticโ at best. It looked like I had baked it over a wood fire in a small hovel somewhere in Eastern Europe about two centuries ago. But boy did it taste good! Iโve been told thatโs all that mattersโฆI suspect, however, that is a clever way of saying โLooks like a four year old made it, but weโll eat it anywayโ!
How about something with Fruit and Chocolate and Marscapone! I am imagining it, but am not sure how to make it come together!
oh, dearโฆ brownie pie sounds goodโฆ
but my first pie with such a fancy pan would have to be something French-y and sophisticated-looking, such aaaasโฆ a caramel โ cream cheese tart with nice little peach slices on top? how does that sound?? :D
I second the idea of making something with berriesโฆstrawberries or raspberries, in particular! The hubby wonโt eat anything but and our 1st anniversary is coming up!
Hmmmโฆ how about a classic lemon tart?
Oh man, brownie pieโฆsounds delicious. But how about some cookie cake?
I tried the strawberry banana cream pie last weekend, it was delicious, but would be even better in that beautiful tart pan! How about making blueberry lemon bread?!
Mmmmโฆ macarons! So French! So pretty!
iโm thinking something with lemonsโฆlemon curd tart perhaps? maybe filled cupcakes?? with homemade whipped cream frosting!
Baked Alaska!!!!
Hi Joy, I live in Puerto Rico, its not like we eat tarts a lot hereโฆ but i just love them, specially since we are a tropical island and rich in decadents fruits. How about a tropical tart, something with guava or pineapple, and coconut!!! ummmm refreshing!!!
What about Black Forest Cherry Cake? My great-grandmother used to make her famous version every holiday and Iโve never been able to find a modern version of the recipe that I like. Maybe youโve got a fancy version up your sleeve? Love your blog, Joy!
I canโt stop thinking about the brownie pie. so I think I have to recommend you try it out this weekend!
What a sweet pan. I would love to whip up some deelish chocolate mousse pie in that for my fiance who is going to be my husband in June.
One of those light spongy cakes or cake rolls at the Asian bakery stores! Theyโre sooooooo goood! Not too sweet, not too dense. Itโs like heaven in your mouth!
The pan is gorgeous; I adore shiny kitchen supplies (probably too much sometimesโฆ). I would love to see a pistachio-apricot (or peach/nectarine/another delicious summer stone fruit) galette.
oh!! i think with the weather getting warmer (on the east coast, at least) anything fruity would be amazing! key lime or meyer lemon, or something with berries! or a peach crumble, with a sweet oat toppingโฆ iโd love to see your take on any of these!
Iโm dreaming of a tiramisu/raspberry hi-bred right now and of course a shiny new tart pan.
Chocolate Pie! My absolute favorite, especially with homemade whipped topping. My sister made it for a guy she was dating, and I guess it worked, because now theyโre engaged! Youโre awesome Joy!
Ooh, Iโd love a tart pan.
Hmm, maybe a new and exciting cookie recipe. Iโm on the hunt for sugar that can be shipped easily and would love a new cookie idea. Maybe something with coffee involved..
that talk of fancy French things got me thinking ofโฆ.cream puffs!
Oooh! Iโd love to win. Iโd probably make something raspberry-themed. Iโve got raspberries on the brain because theyโll be growing in my yard in just a couple months!
Oh my Joy what would I have you make! You make such wonderfully delicious recipes but a specific oneโฆ.mmmmโฆ.Macarons would be neat! Ooooo or homemade snickers or any candy bar really! that would be extremely interesting but in all reality Joy, what you pick is the best and I would love whatever you decide!
ooh! I would love a tart pan! Itโs on my list of things to buy! Love your site, Joy.
I used a tart pan like this at my friendโs house 2 days ago and it made me really want one of my ownโฆ
How about easy morning-of cinnamon rolls? Whole wheat too?
oh my gosh, i would love a pan like that! i donโt even know where to get them, and iโve been thinking about chocolate tarts for forever.
i have two ideas for you: one is a fancy fruit tart (the kind in nice bakeries with the glazed fruit on top, which unfortunately sometimes look better than they taste!). the other is some kind of round cookie (not of the bar variety) made with fresh or frozen fruit (blueberries, etc.)
How about a claflouti (I probably totally mis-spelled.)
Iโm not sure how inspirational this is, but how aboutโฆa Kentucky Butter Cake. Mmm Mmm!
I think your recipes are pretty goodโฆ.keep it up. As for something to have a chance to win that fabulous pan. Hmmmmโฆ.how something to do with jamsโฆa jam roll. Or whatever they are called.
Iโm quite fond of fruit pies, perhaps some new and unusual but delicious fruit pie?
iโd love to see you make some lemon meringue pie- itโs my fav- and iโd love to drool over your pictures! :) hehe. iโd love to make the strawberry banana cream pie for my hubby, and the tart pan would be awesome because i donโt have one (shame on me, i know!) thanks for the great giveaway!
How about a cherry tart topped with a chocolate crumble? Iโm reading through the Brownie Loverโs Bible this weekend. Iโm inspired by all things chocolate right now. Have fun with your new tart/pie pan!
I would like to bake up a giant lemon tart!
strawberry tart!!!!!
a chess pie!
I am FOREVER in search of a stupendous peach cobblerโฆ.not super fancyโฆmade from simple ingredientsโฆ.where the peaches are really the star. Both my grandmother and mother would make them by seemingly just throwing things together. Iโve never been able to duplicate their genius!
p.s. Iโve always wanted a tart pan!
Lemon, lemon, lemon!
What about a black forest cake. I love those!!
I actually have one and never use it! Awaiting the brownie pie . . .
Iโd really like some summer Pavlova.
Just what I need to use up all that fresh fruit.
Joy, Iโm the same way! I always pick up the silly tart pan and put it in my cartโฆ but the dang thing always ends up back on the shelf before I make it to the register. I will no longer fear the tart pan. I will take it. And I will bake with it. A chocolate raspberry tart! Youโre welcome.
Iโd love to make the Strawberry-Almond Cream Tart that was featured in Cooking Light!
Two suggestions: 1. Linzertorte, 2. Jello Mold.
Pick me!
Iโve always been curiousโฆdo poppyseeds go with anything other than Lemon? Iโd sure love to have a springtime recipe akin to poppyseed lemon loafโฆbut with a new take that doesnโt use lemon! Although I LOVE lemon, Iโm curious.
Thanks!
Oh wow! You read my mind with the brownie pie โ so now I have to think of something elseโฆFirst thing that came to mind? Classic Chocolate Layer Cake. And the caps are necessary.
MmmโฆI would make either something peachy or something chocolateyโฆ
Would love to win this! My only tart pan is an 11-inch pan (silly me didnโt know there were different sizes when I first bought it), which makes it difficult sometimes when all I want is a tart. Would love to own a normal size tart pan!
Hmmmโฆ inspirationโฆ I just recently made โMud Pieโ (coffee ice cream pie in a cookie crust, with whipped cream, fudge sauce, and almonds). I think youโd really enjoy it. Itโs like the best thing ever. EVER.
Thanks, wish me luck!
One of my favorite desserts growing up was a strawberry rhubarb compote with some vanilla frozen yogurt on top. It is delicious!
a strawberry tart! itโs that time of year, and it would look so cute in that pan!
Make a genoise! With an awesome fruit filling and exciting icing. Or rum glazeโฆ.
I would love to see some ideas for black raspberries. We have a raspberry patch that my husband lovingly tends and Iโd love to surprise him with something extra tasty this summer.
Where I come from (Canada) spring is just beginning! Iโve had a craving for a delicious strawberry shortcake loaded with whipped cream and beautiful red strawberries :). Donโt you want one now???
After seeing this post, I will be buy a tart pan today! And if I won it, having two would be like a bonus. I
โd love for you to make Snickers Pie! And I donโt mean a pie with bits of Snickers throughout. Where I work we have a snickers pie, and itโs divine! Iโd love to make it at home. Itโs a pastry crust, a soft, chewy chocolate layer with peanuts (Iโd have to leave those out with a nut allergy) covered with a cheesecake type layer (It may have some caramel in it, Iโm not sure, itโs wonderful though!), topped with a chocolate layer and decorated just around the edges with peanuts and caramel. Oh, if you could do that, Iโd be in heaven!!
Looking forward to a brownie pie though! (seriously!!)
What Iโd like to see is the sexiest strawberry shortcake ever, maybe with a few blueberries and some pretty lemon zest.
Maybe some cute boy would appreciate such a summery dessert, mmmh?
Iโm thinking about a banana-coconut tart. Simple but homey, and delicious.
Something yummy with blackberries! Iโve got a ton I want to bake into something!
I have a bunch of old bananas, but I donโt want to make another banana bread. Thatโs so typical. Iโd love something a little more out-of-the-box.
Recently I bought a bunch of macadamia nuts (they were on sale). I have them in the freezer, but Iโd love to find some great recipes to bake with them. A tart with macadamia nuts and chocolate and/or caramel sounds yummy. Or how about a tropical-themed tart with macadamia nuts, coconut, and pineapple? Iโm open to any kind of tart with macadamia nuts!
Well, itโs the beginning of rhubarb season now so that delectable stalk has been on my mind lately. Iโd love to see what ingenious way you find to tame the bitter and bring out its tart, unique flavors.
Salted Caramel, Salted Caramel, Salted Caramel! Preferable in the form of an icing that holds up and doesnโt ooze down the side of cupcakes/cakes when at room temp. That has been my problem.
Keylime!! I think you should make something with keylime, but not the usual Keylime Pie โ Iโm thinking along the lines of a cupcake or pound cake. Something cake-y and delicious!
Sticky Toffee Pudding or Princess Cake. Mmmmm!!
Mmmm I agree with anything that has lemon in it would be amazing. Or maybe some kind of new take on a filled doughnut?
Can you make cinnamon-raisin bread!
Oh man. I love anything that has lemon, cinnamon, caramel or pumpkin in it. Any of those would make me eat the entire tart and not even feel sorry about it either haha.
I think a peanut butter chocolate tart of some kind with pecan pieces and a caramel drizzle on top would be fantastic!
On the more fruity side of things, you could do a cinnamon apple tart with a thin custard layer.
I would cook a delicious Peach Pie with a crumb topping !!!!!!!
Hello! My name is Meag and I have been a reader of your blog for some time now. LOVE it!
I would love to see a pear almond tart! mmmโฆdelish.
Iโve bookmarked Smitten Kitchenโs interpretation of David Lebowitzโs jam tartโbut I need the tart pan to make it!
blueberry with chocolate bakey thing
Lemon tart! Yes, please!
I have fresh berries growing in my back yard. They will be ripe by Fatherโs Day. How about a fresh berry tart to go with our family meal that day!!
How about a pie with raspberries or lemons? Or a pie with raspberries AND lemon? Yum. Sounds almost healthy.
Well I would say a rainbow cake. I just saw one this week. Looks like the coolest thing. On the outside covered in plain buttercream frosting. But on the inside which no one knows but you are 6 layers of bright colourful cake. I just love this dessert. Check it out here. https://whisk-kid.blogspot.com/2009/08/say-it-with-cake.html
Something lemon.. pieโฆ tart.. cake.. whatever :)
Something with mascarpone, please!
I need a tart pan!
How about some finger foods. Iโm always looking for more appetizers that donโt require utensils and are beyond meatballs. Iโm sure youโve got some great appetizers up your sleeve!
HMMMM Something with myer lemon curdโฆ. a cakeโฆ. tartโฆ. even scones with lemon curd along the side. I have some left over and need to use it up fastโฆ.
how about a Derby Pie!
Brownie pie sounds pretty awesome! How about lemon meringue pie?
Oooo! Yesโฆ..nice sweet fresh juicy strawberries! Almost that time around here! Canโt wait, canโt wait!! Strawberry tartโฆ..with nothing else to mess it up! Blissโฆ..
I know strawberries are in season in LA right now. (I made my own cakeโpic at the bottom of my blogโthis past week!)
But right now, Iโm longing for summertime tomatos, a touch of garlic, a little parm-cheese and some lovely pastry crust. Maybe some chives strewn across the top.
A tomato pie, please?
I want some more non-banana vegan treats for my vegan darling. specifically, if i win, I want to make vegan tarts for my sweetie who i am moving in with this spring. So happy
Muffins. Then I can eat cake for breakfast.
Key lime tart!
A lemon tart would make me very very happy!!! Itโs my favourite โ or a pecan tart โ oh, yum! Iโve never used one of these either.
Make a nice bunch of chocolate whoopie pies. Leaves an excuse to say โwhoopie!โ every time you offer them to guestsโฆ or you eat one (all of them). :D
Caramel apple pie!
Iโm thinking โฆ a 3 layer lemon chiffon cake with lemon curd in between the layers topped off with some candied curls of lemon peel
I found an apricot pistachio tart in a new cookbook I bought last night. It simply looks irresistable! If only I had a tart panโฆ Making it for my husband for a fatherโs day surprise would be so fun as this tart combines two of his favorite foods. Keep writing your cute blog!
Good old-fashioned hand piesโpreferably not fried. Cherry or apple please.
My hubby LOVES rhubarb, so I can never get enough rhubarb recipes. :)
Key lime pie!
Iโve been wanting to make the strawberry-banana cream pie but I donโt have a tart pan!
I would love something that includes fresh strawberries and lemon. Love your site!
I like to see everything you bake, but Iโm trying to use up a bunch of oatmeal before I move in two weeks, so thatโs be a great main ingredient to see.
How about a doberge cake? Yum! One of my favorites!
I would love to see you bake up some lovely cinnamon rolls โ I am forever on the lookout for a new, better recipe.
With Cinco de Mayo right around the corner I wanted to make my attempts at a creamy flan dessert. Any tips on where to start?
Dear Joy-ful!
As I look out into my backyard I have a lovely little lump of rhubarb growing!! I am thinking that you could make me (and my hubby) happy by making a buttery crumb covered strawberry rhubarb tartish coffeecake! I will provide the coffee.
You are welcome to pop over and pick some of MY rhubarb.. it is the extent of my farming.
Joy, Iโm going to post a selfish request. Even if I donโt win the tart pan, Iโd still love to see what you come up with for this request.
I love, love, love chocolate, but I can no longer have it due to an allergy Iโve developed. I miss brownies more and more each day. Iโm often tempted to steal a brownie even though I know itโs a really bad idea. The problem is, I havenโt found a decent non-chocolate brownie (a blondie, I believe) yet. So, if you could whip up a pretty fantastic blondie recipe that would satisfy the gooey chewy part of the missing brownie, I would be forever indebted.
I like to make a fruit pizza-type dessert! but, instead of a sugar cookie crust with cream cheese icing, I make the Baked brownies in a jelly roll pan, then have a dark chocolate mousse.. covered with lots of fruit (strawberries, kiwi, bananas, green and red grapes, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.. my favorite combo is oddly the kiwi!) my friends all go absolutely crazy.. itโs such a tempting, evil dessert. so much chocolate, but so much fruit! Itโs good for you, but itโs baad for you. :D
I would love a tart pan! I love almost everything you bake up, but this morning I woke up thinking about lemon curd. . .
A peanut butter and jelly tart that I have been wanting to make, but no tart pan!
Something for Motherโs Day that is diabetes friendly would be fantastic! Iโve been scouring my cookbooks at home for something to make and as of yet nothing has inspired me. Thanks!
Iโm moving across the country in a week! Eep so soon I should have all my baking stuff packed soonโฆ
Will you make something that I can do with limited kitchen tools?
You should make a German Chocolate Ganache Cake. I remember baking one at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada when I took the one year Baking Techniques course. Best. Cake. Ever. Rich, moist, intenseley chocolate. I took it home to my roommates and we at the entire thing that day, no shame in that.
How about a chocolate strawberry tart- incorporate the current season of strawberries with the deliciousness of a chocolate crust! :)
Something rich and chocolateyโwith a gingersnap crust. mmmmm
Hi Joy! Love your blog,Iโve been wanting a tart pan .How about making some Lady Locks [sometimes called Cream Horns],they are soooo yummy.Thank you for great recipes.
Mmmmm, sweet crusty tarts. This is my little inspirational comment:
The Queen of Hearts, she made some tarts,
All on a summer day,
The Knave of Hearts, he stole those tarts,
And took them quite away!
Hmm, an almond-pear tart? I love tarts they are so versatile at parties.
I soo need this. But hmm, you need inspiration โ I say something with strawberries and nutella. Those are always good together. :)
OOOh, oh I LOVE pies. And buckles. And cobblers. And other fruit + sweet, flaky dough combinations. Maybe you could make a blueberry buckle.
Did you say brownie pie??? That alone is inspiration! :)
Sour Cream Coffee Cake w/ Streusel Topping. Serious cravingโฆโฆ.
Ooh! What if you made a cheesecake tart! Less rich because itโs shorter, so you can eat more. Plus, it would have a higher crust-to-filling ratio, which makes everything better. AND you could put in caramel. Because thereโs nothing thatโs not made better with butter and burnt sugar. Maybe garnish it with raspberries? Maybe not. Please send me the tart pan? Pleeeeeease?
The Kentucky Derby is coming up next week, so it would be fantastic if you made a Derby Pie! Well, I think the name is trademarked, but itโs also called a Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie. Youโve mentioned how much you love bourbon, so serve it up with a mint julep, and youโll be good to go!
Maybe you could make something that doesnโt require oven time. As it gets hotter outside, I feel less like spending time around an overโฆitโs just too hot. Something that goes in the fridge would be great.
I think it would be cool if you made a dacquoise! I had a slice of one (hazelnut, I believe) while I was living in Paris and it was like a giant macaron, filled with hazelnut buttercream. Hoo boy! So delicious!
Key lime pie with a layer of custard!
How about something with strawberries, as the pick-you-own season will soon be upon us.
well, i was going to say rhubarb pie, but i think everyone else covered thatโฆ
iโm from amish country in ohio so i see and bake a lot of pies. but, i would love to see your interpretation of a peanut butter cream pie. so good.
Oh, pretty please figure out how to combine lavender with lemon flavors! I had a lavender lemonade YEARS ago at Mobyโs tea room in NYC and it kind of blew my mind and now lavender is my favorite taste, but itโs so difficult to find things that use it! My husband even bought me a little pot of dried lavender, which I have only used for adding to a batch of foccacia I made one time (but you totally couldnโt taste it, but I was afraid to waste it by adding more!). Help me with my lavender problems!
maybe a chocolate pretzel tart? mmm.
iโd love for you to make some kind of breakfasty brioche rolls, maybe with berries, or oranges and chocolate?? :)
Something with lemon!
At my favorite local dessert & coffee spot (Dolce Cafe) they make superb lemon tartsโฆ Not too sweet, just right amount of lemon kick, and a sprinkling of powdered sugar and pine nuts on top. What do you think you can come up with so that I could make it at home (in my new tart pan, of course)?
I have always wanted a tart pan, but I did not think I would ever bake anything fancy enough to use it. Like my spring form pan, I would probably use it once.
I love anything with rhubarb. How about a rhubarb tart?
something wild and springy with a shortbread crust!
Growing up, Mom used to make a blueberry tart in this pan with cinnamon and a big of brown sugar. Yum!
Wellโฆโฆ..Iโm open to anything and everything!! Bring it on Joy and thanks for the great giveaway!!
Some day I will actually try homemade pie crust. I knowโa sin that I bake with store bought
Keylime pie tends to be so hit or miss, but when itโs good itโs so good! Whatโs your best recipe?
Iโve been on a blueberry kick of late, but my hubby is craving something of the custard variety. Iโve been thinking about making a creme brulee with blueberries in it, but Iโm a) very busy writing two term papers for my graduate classes that are due next week (and stalling by catching up on my favorite blogs), and b) too chicken to try it myself for fear of failure. Please come to my rescue with a fabulous recipe (and maybe a super awesome tart pan?)!! :)
I went to a little bakery once and had the most amazing piece of pie. It was a Banana Cream pie and it also had a thin layer of melted chocolate along the top of the crust, slices of bananas and peanut butter mixed in there some how. If you could find a way to replicate that kind of idea, THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!
As of now I only make three kinds of pie, blueberry, chocolate pudding, and mystery pecan. I have always wanted to try key lime and I think in a tart pan it would be awesome. My boyfriends mother is coming to visit us for the first time and I would feel very impressed with myself if I was able to pull it off.
iโve been craving hummingbird cake latelyโฆ maybe some delicious photos from joy the baker would finally be the kick in the pants to make it!
soon enough it will be blueberry season. iโd love to make a blueberry pieโฆ
Since itโs seasonalโฆsomething lovely with rhubarbโฆ.maybe something different than the usual bread/pie/crumble.
How about something with rhubarb? I make a lot of pies and tarts, but never anything with rhubarb.
i like many of your readers have pushed this baking pan to the back of the line in a long list of wanted tool. and itโs so sad because whenever I am flipping through my cookbooks and I see a tart recipe I skip it. Sure I could push it in a pie pan, but then the tart wonโt pop out like it would (or so I imagine) from the pie dies and no pretty great for presentation fluted edges.
iโm completely jazzed about your proposed brownie pie, but waaaay more about that fluted edge! itโs gonna look suuuper cute!!!
Would love to see some yeast bread recipes!
One word: rhubarb. Itโs rhubarb season here in the Northeast and it makes my heart sing. And Iโm not talking rhubarb with the next word strawberry. The rhubarb stands alone in its glory. Alright, helped by a touch of sweetness.
I look at that pan and I see rhubarb.
Something with rhubarb!
Hey Joy! Nice looking tart pan you got there.
Could you make something savory-tasty in that tart pan, like ham and cheese something-or-other (maybe without eggsโฆquiches can be pretentious sometimes) and bake the thing up?
My grandmother use to make an egg custard and she would have it in this amazing old pie safe type cabinet in her kitchen. It was the best treat. I havenโt had one as good since she passed. Iโve looked for a recipe but the ones Iโve tried just arenโt hers so Iโd like to see your take on egg custard please.
Oh Iโve been wanting a full size tart pan โ I got a set of 6 mini ones for Christmas but havenโt been able to use them as much as I want because every time I want to make a tart it would be much more convenient to have the full size pan.
As for a suggestion, I have been playing with an idea for pineapple upside down cake inspired cupcakesโฆ got a recipe for that?
hummm okโฆ this! a long time ago I did a sour cream chocolate cakeโฆ it was made with cocoa.. so! the thing is, I lost the recipe; but! maybe you could find one and bake itโฆ The cake was ultra good but no too sweet and that made it perfect.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I would love to see you make a fruit dessert like a plum crumble or something like that.
Irish whiskey pie!
Pie crust. Chocolate pudding. Whiskey whipped cream. What could be better?
I would LOVE a cream cake recipe that I could put blueberries, strawberries or even chocolate into depending on my hearts desire. Are cream cakes just a southern thing? I live in Texas and they are everywhere here! Itโs a fine line between cakeโฆand cheesecake. Usually made in a bunt pan or tube panโฆsighโฆnow Iโm hungry for cake early in the morning. I love it!
The things I could make with this!!
I have been craving something lately: cupcakes in ice cream cones. You know, the ones you got at birthday parties when you were little. With the colorful cones and delicious cake inside. And either ice cream or frosting on top. Yum!
That would be an awesome theme for a post; childhood goodies!
This may be selfish but Iโd love for you to come to to Texas and make my birthday cake. And hang out and drink wine. Lots of wine.
It would be nice to bake with spring fruits like apricots or rhubarb.
I have been wanting a tart pan for so long but I havenโt been able to find one! I want to make a Chocolate Raspberry Tart. :) chocolate and raspberry together is one of my favorite combinations
Oh boy, Iโve been putting off buying a new tart pan โ now I know why ;-)
Iโve had a hankerinโ for Rice Krispie Bars โ I know you would put a cute and tasty spin on them!
Souffle!! Preferably chocolate!
And you may have already done this on here somewhereโฆ
a coconut cake. I donโt really like coconut but Iโve always wanted to make one that everyone loves. I think then youโve reached the pinnacle of baking cakes when youโve mastered this.
MmmโฆI had a chocolate chip lavender cookie a few weeks ago and it was delicious!!! puhhhlease ;)
I really want to make the Brookie (brownie/cookie) from Baked. Iโve had a serious craving for it since seeing them make it on Martha Stewart.
would love a blue berry crumble โฆheck blue berry anything (iโm a true newfie)
How about doughnuts? JELLY doughnuts! Or GLAZED doughnuts. Yummmm, DOUGHNUTS!
Strawberry rhubarb pie! Or even something different like bars, or a cake with strawberry and rhubarb.
A tart pan is definitely on my โwant list.โ As for inspiration for youโฆ.my goshโฆ.I donโt know. YOU provide so much inspiration for me. I took your Root Beer Float Cake to a 30th b-day last nightโฆ..quite the hit. I get my husband to eat โpoisonโ aka โapplesโ when I bake your gnarly muffins and breadsโฆ.so thank you!
Actually, how about some homemade brownies. Iโve tried a couple of different internet site recipes for spicy brownies, and Baileyโs brownies latelyโฆ..and have been disappointedโฆand wanted to go back to my box Ghiradellis. Any suggestions?
iโd love to see some brownies!
Iโve been wanting to make a coconut cake..I would love to see one of those one here!
I am always looking for Mexican pastry recipes that do not use shorteningโฆso my idea was how about some empanadas of some sortโฆyou know the little pockets that are filled with some type of fruit. They are so easy to grab and go in the mornings when getting the kids off to school. I love the traditional ones with pumpkin, but I am sure you could give them a great modern twist like plum or mango. I am sure I would love them just the same.
P.s. I couldnโt wait to make your strawberry banana cream pie but didnโt have a tart panโฆ.so last night I made it in a pie plate. :) It was delicious anyways. Gonna go have some more for breakfast. :)
Iโve never made a tart before, but the strawberry cream one in Cooking Light looks delicious, so thatโs probably what Iโd make.
I like muffin recipes, a variety, but specifically one for โButter-Rum Muffinsโ, one that uses rum extract, rather than actual rum.
How cool! Iโve always wanted one of those! How about cream puffs? Iโve been trying to work up the nerve to make them self and love looking at other people successes. Plus, itโs something pretty different for you=)
How about a chocolate cake? I have been searching for a perfect recipe! :o)
I would love a tart pan!!!! I love seeing anything you bake upโฆ..but I would love a delicious cinnamon roll!!!!
I think it would put cute edges on cinnamon rollsโฆor even a apple galette-esque tart.
So sweet.
I would love to see a new ice cream flavor. Summer is almost here and already stuck my ice cream maker in the freezer. Thanks!
My mom use to make an obsttorte (German style cake with fruit on top) growing up. I would love to see a modern version of that.
Hey Joy, thanks for the giveaway! Sorry if youโve already done this, but I would love a recipe for quiche that doesnโt require rolling out dough. Can it be done? I love quiche but donโt know how to make a pie crust. I could make it in this pan! Thanks!
Iโve never made homemade pie crust. I would love to be adventurous enough to make a homemade strawberry rhubarb pie without relying on my mom to send me over some of her frozen homemade crust!
I cannot wait to make this pie โ my husbands two favorite things are strawberry pie and banana cream pie, along with sugar cookies. This pie is a perfect combination of all three โ genius!! I am inspired and he is waiting โ I better get baking.
My mom got me a lovely tart for my birthday โcakeโ. It was beautiful with glossy fruit and delicious vanilla and chocolate creamy goodness inside. I would love to learn to make that. And something sinfully chocolaty of course.
I would love to see what kind of graham crackers you could make. I am trying to get away from boxed products, and this would be help me along the way! Or perhaps some wheat thing type crackers, though the graham crackers tend to get used in baking projects, so are higher on my list.
I just recently got turned on to your website (through Smitten Kitchen or the Pioneer Womanโcanโt remember which), and it brings me great joy (no pun intended).
Peace.
I would like to see a recipe for fruit flan.
Hello dearest Joy, could you please do some yeast recipes with lots of instructions for people who are bad with yeast like me?
And on the complete opposite note, some more gluten-free recipes?
Thank you so much!
I have a tart pan such as this on my โwantโ list as you did for well over 20 years..! You can make some amazing treats in those pansโฆ
A tea ring, I have a recipe for an apricot tea ring but Iโm thinking something with raspberries instead, weโll see. OR a white chocolate fruit tart, definitely what Iโd make if I had a tart pan!! mmmmmm
Brownies from scratch with homemade frosting!
Eeeee! I really need a tart pan, so Iโm psyched about this giveaway. I think you should do something summery that has a short bake time (or isnโt baked) because weโre starting to get into warmer weather.
Iโve been wanting to try some different tart recipes, but not having a tart pan makes it tough.
I would love to see what kind of spring-y fun thing you might come up with thatโs somewhat easy to distribute (for example, cookies or cupcakes as opposed to big and gooey.) I made black and white red velvet cookies for my sonโs teachers for Valentines Day, which obviously set the bar pretty high, and weโve got Teacher Appreciation Week coming up. Iโd love to see what you would recommend to show these people who work so hard how much we appreciate them!
I made baklava last night and wish I knew how to make my own phyllo. Thatโs a challenge, eh!?
I would love to know how to make a good cookie dough ice cream! I live in New Zealand and we canโt get anything that even resembles cookies dough ice cream!
Iโm always in favor of breakfast-y type foodsโฆ some kind of muffin. Ooooh, how about a pastry thatโs like a pop-tart, but made from real food? That would be good.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I would like to make a strawberry tart, then when mango season gets here, a mango tartโฆ Yeah summer!
I would to try your version of a Boston Cream Pie.
Cheesecake! Like, a chocolate and peanut butter layered cheesecake!
English muffins!
Okay, brownie pie sounds amazing. But besides thatโฆI need to know how to make eggs benedict. Itโs sort of baking, right? I will totally make my own english muffins (or biscuits) if you tell me to. Itโs one of my favorite things to order at a restaurant but I just canโt do it right at home. Especially the hollandaise sauce โ how in the heck do you make that!?
Maybe something with strawberries and chocolate. Is there such a thing as strawberry chocolate shortcake?
Iโd love to learn how to make apple fritters. They remind me of spring and visiting my grandparents even though it is definitely not apple season here in Ohio.
Iโm thinking some kind of fruit tart, with custard. Strawberries, blueberries, kiwi. . .mmm!
How about something like a roasted sweet potato tart? i bet the sugary crust and the roasting of the sweet potatoes could make people want to eat it! It could be fun & interesting!!!
Iโve been thinking rhubarb lately so maybe something like rhubarb custard bars or strawberry rhubarb something or rhubarb coffee cake :)
Lemon Meringue Pie!
Baklavaโฆmmmmmmmm
GeezโฆIโm having a hard time getting past brownie pie to think of anything else!!! Anything with the words chocolate and cookies is always good in my book though!!
I would love to see a coffee cake recipe on here. Oh happiness. :)
How about strawberry shortcakes with a twist? Iโve tried adding lemon to the biscuits, cinnamon to the creamโฆI need an extra something special to kick โem up! I know you can do it!
Tart pans are fun and easy to use. There are so many things you can do with them. I would love to win one!
Crepes โ show me how to do them up right!
I have a cookbook just of tarts! Iโm dying to make some of them but I have no tart pan!!
I would love to see your spin on rugelach! Not only the type of filling you would use, but the dough. Itโs odd for an Irish Catholic to be obsessed with rugelachโฆbut I am. There you go.
Macarons! Pink ones? I had one (or 10) in Paris and it was to DIE for (at La Maison du Chocolat YUM!).
How about a coffee cake?
I have been craving for one buttery and full of cinnamon fragrant coffee cakeโฆ
Angel food cake recipes are my favorite. I love the light airy cakes.
Can you make individual brioche? Iโve been really excited about yeast breads lately.
bring on more vegan baked goodsโฆ a tart maybe?
some sort of cheesecake (preferably with chocolate ;-) )
Blackberry pie, please! My husband loves blackberry pie and I havenโt found โknock-your-socks-offโ recipe for it yet. This is what I have been using, but it isnโt as good as youโd like it to be. โ> https://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Blackberry-Pie-I/Detail.aspx
Lately Iโve been searching for the perfect brownie recipe, so I love seeing new recipes I can try!
I was gonna say brownie pie but clearly thatโs happening alreadyโฆ
Coconut cream pie!
ciabatta!
I felt the same way about tart pans! I canโt tell you how many pie plates I have, but, sadly, no tart pans. Iโd love if you could make something with rhubarb. Maybe some kind of tart? :)
Something with lime. I love lime!
Croissants please! Or the brownie pie that was mentionedโฆ or anything with berriesโฆ mmm, now Iโm hungry!
Snickers Pie!!!! I really want to know how to make onw of those
mmmโฆ what about some chocolate-filling-strawberry-cream pie, to go with the lovely pan? I know Iโm just to far away to get the pan (in the Netherlands), but I couldnโt miss the opportunity to ask you (Joy) to combine the two most delicious ingredients a cake/tart can bearโฆ Love u girl!! thanks :)!
sweet potato cupcakes with maple syrup buttercream!
Because itโs spring โ anything involving copious amounts of berries! (The challenge: preferably nothing thatโs only wonderful when topped with cream. Iโm lactarded.)
hmmmโฆmaybe a few sorbet recipes for the spring/summer in us?? i have a grapefruit champagne sorbet that i do every summer, but mine never come out creamy like restaurant sorbetsโฆdo you know any tricks??
More nut recipes! Your fennel and chile almond recipe has made me very popular at potlucks and dinner parties.
My rhubarb is coming very nicely, so I would probably make something with that.
I have been yearning for a tart pan for the past week! I just got a whole book on tarts and need the little bugger to get started! In the spirit of tartliness, make the tartest tart known to man. Sour cherries, mangoes, kumquats, lemon curd? Go Tart Crazy!
Hmmmmโฆ.how about strawberries? Yes, strawberries are in season this time of the year. Mmmmโฆ.strawberries.
perfectโiโve been waiting to post for a while. first let me say that i love your blog, i totally identify with your baking persona ;) secondly, let me say the brownie pie sounds absolutely delicious and i canโt wait to see the pics! as for things to bake upโanything yummo with whole wheat flour because i am always looking for sweets i donโt feel guilty about letting my toddler have. i am so pressed to come up with something specific, there is already a loooong list of things from your blog i want to tryโavocado frosting, avocado loaf, cinnamon roll muffins, zucchini and sweet potato bread, honey whole wheat pound cake, smores browniesโฆ
i guess if you have a recipe for โice creamโ that has hardly any sugar added made with frozen berries and plain yogurt or something like that would be perfect!
I second the lavender request. Iโve been thinking about trying these lavender cupcakes, but Iโd feel much better if I saw you do it first. :)
Croissants! Good olโ butter-laden, flaky croissants!
Thereโs so much Iโd love to bake this weekend. Iโd love to make mini chocolate mocha cupcakes for a baby shower coming!! Yummy :)
This suggestion is not tart-pan related, but Iโd love a trail mix quick breadโsomething similar to banana bread or apple bread but healthy and quick. Iโm pregnant, and though I could probably play with this myself I have other things I need to focus on!
Iโm sure weโll all enjoy whatever you decide. Happy baking!
Sarah
Fruit โ lost of fruit. How about something with rhubarb!
What about something with lavender? I bought some of the herb a while back, but havenโt figured out how to use it!

You know, I turn to you first for any baking recipe, Joy, and I turned to you last night for a yummy crumble-top coffee cake (a homemade, tastier version of the Starbucks 500 calorie one) โ and came up short! The lemon cake I made instead was insanely good โ but I couldnโt help but wonderโฆ What coffee cake would Joy bake?
How about crepes, spruced up with spring things, like fruit and cream? A riff on your (tasty) pancake theme!
Authentic croissants. You know the ones that come apart in crispy layers with a soft, warm middle? Theyโre really tough to make, and Iโve never had any luck with them myself. But making them would totally take it up a level. For reals. ;)
Some kind of nut tart would be fun. Maybe with cashews.
JoyโI just want to see lots and lots of tarts! Easy tarts, not fussy tarts. I have a pan like this, and sadly I donโt use it enough! I need inspiration!
A new pancake recipe! Or something with rhubarb! Yum!
something ooey and gooey, yummy and delicious with strawberries.
Your inner-dessert! I bake my co-workers birthday treats. Instead of going with a standard cupcake or cookie, I think about their personality and set about baking their inner-dessert.
-T.
What a fabulous giveaway, Joy! Iโm so glad you have one and are finding so many uses for it. :-) Iโm envisioning a maple crust piled high with berries and cream. :-)
I know you are mostly a baker of delicious sweet treats, but Iโm looking for a good recipe for the rice they serve in Mexican restaurants. I have seen some on other food blogs, but they just arenโt very close to what Iโm looking for.
Something with strawberries and rhubarb. Yum.
Cake pops!!!!!
Ever since trying my first cake pop at a vintage clothing sale, I have fallen in love. I have been looking for recipes, but it has been impossible to find a recipe which uses its own cake and frosting! All the recipes out there are something along the lines of:
Ingredients: Box of cake mix
WHAT?!?!?!??!?!?!
So pleaseeeeee!!! Cake pops!!!!!!
I would love to see an amazing blueberry pie! My daughters (15,13, & 11) LOVE blueberry pie, but mine always comes out like blueberry soup!
carrot muffins for my one year old to eat.
Angel food cake? I know itโs simple but Iโve never made one and Iโm dying to try.
Iโm actually about to make some strawberry banana muffins!
Maybe an apricot or raspberry fruit tart with a shortbread cookie crust. Mmmmm. Yum, yum, yum,
chewy lemon cookiesโฆall the recipes i try are cakeyโฆ
Carrot cake whoopie pies (with a cream cheese filling) โ Iโve seen some at Trader Joeโs, but I havenโt bought any because I think homemade ones sound even more amazing. However, Iโve never been really blown away by the whoopie pies that Iโve made, so I think I need some help.
I have been itching to make a good rye bread. All of my baking recently has been cookie/cake oriented. Also, Iโve never made rye bread before, and itโs been a while since Iโve made a yeast dough, and I miss all the kneading.
iโve been dying to make some chocolate babka but canโt seem to find timeโฆmaybe i can live vicariously through you!
otherwise iโve always wanted to try to incorporate peanut butter into cinnamon rolls. but that could just be because i constantly try to get more peanut butter into my life.
Sex-in-a-pan!! Sex-in-aโฆ..tart-pan? Either way. Delicious. Hereโs a recipe for inspiration!
https://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Sex-in-a-Pan-II/Detail.aspx
:D
Something with fresh strawberries โ yum!
ooh I so imagine I would never win and shipping to the UK would prob be a massive hassle anyway. But I would love to add my inspiration to the mix! Can you make strawberry shortcake? I once had some in Italy that was delicious and never found anything quite the sameโฆseems so right for summer!
xxxx
Cheesecake please! My favorite dessert ever :-)
I would love to see a grasshopper-type brownie. Mint and chocolate is sooo yummy!
I love to see anything you bake because it is inspiring, but Iโm going to go with what others have said and recommend a nice quiche.
Or maybe one of those fresh fruit tarts with a shortbread crust and a shiny beautiful glaze on top!
Thanks Joy โ Have a wonderful weekend :-)
Iโm not pickyโฆjust whip up a great sweet that I can serve for my Motherโs Day brunch. But make sure the bunco girls will like it too because Iโm planning the same meal when I host bunco 2 days later ;)
Can you bake a beautiful fruit tart? :)
Oh yeah, I need one of these! Iโve actually made it 31 5/6 years without one and that needs to change (reading that strawberry cream pie post made me lament my lack of tart pan). Soโฆ please make bread. Still got your starter?
Profiteroles! Iโd love to see what you could come up with a classic profiteroles recipe :)
My sister and I have been craving an old fashioned peanut butter or strawberry pie!! A pie thatโs a mile high, like you would see in an old diner! Yum:)
Something warm and gooey with bananas and cream.
I would commit petty crime (nothing major, just a little baby crime!) for a homemade moon pie recipe. Marshmallow, cake, chocolateโฆ. and yet, not soaked in preservatives and coming out of a wrapper? Heaven.
i donโt know if such a thing is possible, but a โhealthyโ dense chocolate cake!
:) love all your photos + recipesโฆ especially the oatmeal banana breadโฆ.. add in chocolate chips.. and itโs a HUUUGE hit!
I have to go with the folks who have said French macarons. I am gluten intolerant and for the first few years, just did not eat baked goods โ still made them, just did not eat them. Recently I have started experimenting with almond flour. (The best ever chocolate chip cookies) For Easter I made a ricotta pie with an almond flour crust. I would love to win this tart pan to help in my almond flour endeavors.
I would love something cold with rhubarb, something you could serve at a lawn party this monthโฆ
You are so inventive. I think the brownie pie sounds great, with nuts and fudge frosting. Yummmm!!!
How about some ANZAC cookies with a special Joy the Baker touch to it? Itโs ANZAC Day on April 25โฆ.a special day to honour our military service-people past and present in Australia and NZโฆso it would be most fitting! :)
pies! all sorts of pies! apple, peach, cherry, haupia! yummmโฆ.
Try true-blue sourdough breadโnot a strand of commercial yeast anywhere is sight. Just flour, grapes, and water. The resulting bread is classy and out-of-this-world delicious!
I want to bake a really good rubarb strawberry pie. The season is starting!
thanks for including me in this giveawayโฆ
since we are coming into great fruit seasonโฆhow about a beautiful multi fruit pieโฆyes i would love to bake thatโฆ
Traditionsl British Scones. Yum.
Compost cookies!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, some sort of yummy cookie. Lemon shortbread, or something delicate but delicious!
I made the most amazing pink lemonade cupcakes with a pink lemonade buttercream icing this week! Next week? I am going to tackle a birthday cake for my amazing mother and my first ever Cherry Pie!
The rhubarb in my garden is just sprouting up for springtime โ I canโt be the only one looking for rhubarb ideasโฆ..
I know this is hard. . .But how about a really great recipe for chewy chocolate chip cookies? That would be awesome! Or French macarons!
cheesecake..rich, tall, creamyโฆ *drooling*
I don t know if this giveaway is open to overseas followers but anyway I wish you to bake millionaire shortbread.
Hi Joy,
One of those apple tarts on puff pastry please! Iโve been dissatisfied with recipes Iโve found โ too many hard-to-find ingredients! I live in a city with not much culinary diversity, and though I want to find these things, I simply cannot (Iโve gone 7 months without buttermilk and Iโm thinking about taking a train to London just to find some). So something simple but awesome, please and thank you.
(Donโt know if I qualify for your drawing because I live overseas, but I thought Iโd send some love anyway! Love your lovely blog!)
How about Boston Cream Pie or a variation like Boston Cream Pie muffins or cupcakes or pound cake orโฆ?
french macaronsโฆ. i can never get them quite right. my interior always falls giving me a hollow shell!.
Lemon Bars! please? they would be great!
Iโd love some sort of pie! Apple or peach or pear pie!
oops pressed enter too fast
But would like to see an easy type of cheesecake?
Arg! I was looking for a tart pan!
Lemon tart from Rachel Allen is on my list :)
I would like for you to bake a pie with meringue. My meringue never turns out well. It separates from the crust and weeps. So, if you could explain how to make meringue successfully, I would be thrilled.
Lemon Bars pleaseโฆ
I saw a recipe for Rhubarb Bars that caught my attention on another blog and I would LOVE for you to give it a shot and tell us what you think! https://cookandeat.com/2010/04/22/rhubarb-bars/
I love the sweet and salty combination. The office ladies did a โsweet and saltyโ lunch a few weeks agoโฆ it was weird, needless to say, but it included things like marshmallow cream on wheat thins (??)โฆ anywayโฆ
I just (finally) bought a tart pan too. This after 36 1/2 years! I have used it once now and loved it. I used it for a basic cheesecake. I also just saw (though I donโt remember where) using a medium sized bowl turned upside down to remove the outer ring from a hot panโฆ placing the tart on the bowl and then allowing the ring to drop downโฆ
I do love your blog and wish I had about a million hours (and dollars) to try everything you have here!
Macaroons! They are so yummy! And cute and colorful too!
I would love a recipe for something with chocolate and bananas, like banana chocolate chip bread, or something like it. Yum!
How about strawberry rhubarb pieโฆor crumbleโฆ.or crispโฆor barsโฆ
Something that would impress โsomeoneโ at work, not too sweet, not too obvious, but overall fabulous. The kinda baking that makes people think you have all the secrets, when really itโs simple (which I guess would be the secret).
Love your blog, am in Australia and have found new passion for cooking. Keep up the good work :)
I would like you to make something nice and chilly. Itโs getting super hot here and I could really do with something like your apple pie granita!! Oh those glasses, those cute glasses. Use them again! and where did you buy them from?
Something savory in that tart pan would be delicious since it is such a nice time for weekend brunches. Something with whatever is fresh in the market now.
Ever heard of a buttermil icing? I am looking for a recipe for an older person that is requesting me bake her a cake with buttermile icing.
Ooops that is buttermilk.
i am always in search of the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe โ would love to see what yours is! :)
That pan would be perfect to bake fregolotta, a typical venetian cake/huge cookie, itโs all crumbly and deliciousโฆ
I know itโs not pumpkin season, but I love anything with pumpkin and I just found three giant cans of it in the back of my cupboard!! Maybe scones or muffins?
Iโve just noticed a couple of people have said this already, but please try some macarons. I attempted them last weekend- I left the egg whites to age and everything. My first batch were very thin meringue wafers, the second were like almond biscuits. I was disappointed in myself, and need to find the in-between stage. Iโm leaving it a while for my next attempt, but I half blame the recipe (I wonโt mention which blog itโs from!) as the instructions were not 100% user friendly. I know you could help us!
(PS I live in England, so donโt worry about the tart pan, even though it is lovely and shiny!)
Iโd love to see some pizza baking inspiration from you!
Brownie pie is super duper easy, especially if you make the brownie a cross between brownie, chocolate mousse and souffle. Sounds wierd, but works.
something savory like a quiche, maybe broccoli and cheese with a buttery crust YUMMN!
Hi, Joyโฆ
I think a Scandinavian Apple Torte, in the beautifully scalloped tart pan, would be wonderfu!! A butter cookie crust, cheesecake filling and and an artfully arranged topping of sliced apples, almonds and cinnamon. Brushed, at the end, with melted apple or apricot jellyโฆwow!
Or, if you are in the mood for something savory, how about a vidalia onion and goat cheese tart on puff pastry? That pan opens many doors!! Looking forward to seeing what you create next. And many thanks for your inspiration.
more ice cream, Iโm making the double chocolate pb ice cream today.
something with plums โฆ. please!
ooo! I just received a packet of matcha (green tea) from a friend and have been looking for ideas to put it to use! Any sort of recipe to try out would be fun- Iโve been thinking about ice cream, shortbread cookiesโฆ maybe chocolate cupcakes with green tea frosting?
How about a tiramisu? I know the standard recipe of eggs and mascarpone but the tiramisuโs I order in restaurants are always creamier, fluffier and more luxurious than my own. How do they do it? I bet you know!
I need something with rhubarb, definitely!
Iโm not going to lie, ever since I read Amelia Bedelia as a child I have been dying to make (and eat!) a delicious lemon meringue pie. I have never tried one but somehow I know in my heart of hearts that it would be wonderful. Can you make my childhood fantasies come true??? It doesnโt even have to be in pie form โ you could make lemon meringue bars or cookies or even a tart! As long as it puts Ameliaโs lemon meringue to shame >:)
I know you can do it!
Quiche lorraine!
Iโd love a really good recipe for double chocolate chip (chocolate-y dough plus chips) cookies and Iโm still hunting for the perfect muffin equivalent too.
It would be awesome if you could share those!
hi
a key lime cake
i love it
Probably Dorieโs lemon cream tart! Yum!
I want to make miniature layer cakes! SO much better than cupcakes! Flavor: sโmoresโฆ
Please bake some Pasteis de Nata! Theyโre Portuguese tarts consisting of flaky puff pastry encasing a creamy rich caramelised egg custard. Theyโre the ugly duckling of desserts. But the taste? OH the taste, will blow you away. xxx
oh my gosh, joy, everything that everyone has mentioned sounds DELICIOUS! i am particularly in favor of the cheesecake, raspberry and chocolate creation listed above. and the macaroons. although you did just make some.
i came on to tell you that next friday is my birthday, and i have already planned on making the rootbeer chocolate again. oh. my. god. soooo amazing!!! and youโre totally right- itโs much better the next day, after all the flavors have a chance to settle in. so my friend margalit is coming over on thursday to hang out with me while i make it so that all my guests the next day get it at its peak.
in terms of YOU making something, my friend margalit, who knows how much i love coconut was asking what kind of coconut cake i wanted. so i was going to suggest that you come up with something magnificent. as you always do.
joy, i feel like i want to be friends with you. rather, i know that i do. i considered facebook stalking you (your last name is on the โon the lambโ website). but i want to be ACTUAL friends with you, not just fb friends, and i want us to send long emails back and forth. everyone else can read them, but, i mean, joy, i want to ask you all of these questions. like: what happened to simon? I was so sad when I started reading all these hints that you guys werenโt together anymore, like when you were talking about your bunny slippers that would keep you single for eternity. and i forget now, but i even read through your posts again to find other comments like that. and i was like โKEEP?!?! whatโs going on here??โ but now i know that you are in the process of wooing this red haired boy (which means he has probably wooed and won you, at least for the time being.) and iโm all about that. i just liked simon. especially since he seemed to make you happy. hopefully this red haired boy will make you happiER, or some other boy will, or lack of boy will, butโฆ WHOA that got pretty serious. but i was just going through my own boy things, andโฆ i just want you to know that i want to talk to you, always. and that i think of you when iโm going about my day (thatโs not weird, is it? maybe. but in real life iโm not too creepy. and you share a lot in your blog, and it makes me want to share a lot with you.) and that i used โholy heckโ on my birthday invite, and thought of you, and it made me giggle. iโd never said it before. ever. anyway, i just wanted you to know that youโre pretty freakin awesome- and you make me giggle all the time.
ok. enough. thanks for everything. i look forward to reading you every day. and when you donโt post something new, i have to read something old. and itโs always delightful.
happy baking, joy! i will be thinking of you when i make that rootbeer chocolate cake again! (i froze some last time, and ate some tonight. i couldnโt wait til next week.) also, if youโre on a secret mission in boston that you havenโt yet mentioned in your blog, please come to my bday party. itโs at nine.
xoxox
PS Iโm pretty sure this is like, the longest comment anyone has ever posted to you.
Iโm ok with that.
How about Banoffee! I am scared of it but itโs my mother-in-laws favorite, soโฆ.
It would be nice to see how youโd approach the recipe for gooey butter cake that the ny times posted a few weeks ago!
that tart tin is lovely! iโve always wanted one.
I have been wanting to make a cheesecake. My aunt has the best recipe and Iโve tried making it once- it didnโt look good, but it was delicious!
OOH, I know what I want you to bakeโฆ Grape pie!! For Serious! Iโm going to attempt one this weekend. I havenโt made one for like 10 years but I have all these grapesโฆ itโs a long story, lol.(think work party + women who donโt eat + 500 little cups full of grapes left over + me, Iโm the grape rescuer!)
I made this pie ten years ago when I lived in a house with a backyard full of grape vines. The grapes werenโt sweet enough to eat but we had SO MANY that we had to do something with them. SOโฆ we looked up an old recipe, grape pie. We made 25 pies!! All those grapesโฆ but WOW, what a flavor. And they freeze beautifully. Amazing. Hereโs the recipe. YUMM.
Concord Grape Pie
Ingredients:
4 1/2 cups Concord grapes
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)
***STREUSEL:***
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter or margarine
Directions:
Squeeze the end of each grape opposite the stem to separate skins from pulp. Set skins aside. Place pulp in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Press through a strainer or food mill to remove seeds. Combine pulp, skins, sugar, flour, lemon juice and salt; pour into pastry shell. Combine oats, brown sugar and flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling. Cover edges of pastry with foil. Bake at 425F for 15 minutes. Remove foil; bake 20 minutes more or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
**we used the most flavorful grapes, even though they were super tart, they make a terrific pie**

A chocolate babka!! Please!!
Dear Joy,
Iโd love something herbie-floraly maybe a lavender cream pie with a rosemary crust, with plenty of lemon zest
Iโd like a tasty, easy recipe for mini muffins that freeze well and can be made in large quantities. My parents need give-aways for a presentation, and guess who landed the job without even asking โ or being asked, for that matterโฆ ;)
Hi Joy! Thanks for doing this giveaway! Iโd totally be making quiches all the time with this. :)
I love nothing more than a good coffee cake! I will now go check your archives to see if youโve already done one :)

pizza! or a savory bread pudding!
something light and summery, like with strawberries or limes!!
i know this sounds a little crazy (& i just am terrified to do it myself), but iโd love for you to make french macarons. convince me they are nothing to be afraid of! :)
I would love to see a fresh fruit tart! Itโs getting well into spring, and the endless possibilities for what can be done with $10 and access to a farmerโs market are open to us once again. :)
I would love a great tiramisu recipe! :)
Iโd like to see cheesecake. Any kind. I looove cheesecake.
Iโd like a good chiffon cake recipe :) bonus if it has cream and strawberries involved, and perhaps some chocolate :D

I would make a lime curd tart. I was thinking of making mini individual tarts but Iโd love to start with the fill sized tart pan. Thanks Joy! Much Love!!!
My birthday is coming up in the next week or so. How about your absolute -favorite- birthday cake? One you would make for yourself; no limitations. That is pretty much what I am looking for at the moment, anyway :)
I would *love* for you to bake a cheesecake. With raspberry and chocolate involved. Itโs my birthday next month, and I love raspberry and chocolate, AND cheesecake (which is sort of pie AND sort of cake!!!). Help me Joy the Baker!
Tiramisu!
Creme Puffs! or Whoopie piesโฆ or ANYTHING with peanut butter =)
I am sooo craving muffins. Cinnamon and easy.
I want to see a tasty, old school, mince meat pie (without the meat).
Mississippi Mud Pie, the receipe I use is devineโฆ..
Please do something with puffs/choux pastry! Iโve had so much difficultyโฆ mine never turn out quite right. It seems entirely up to luck with me, and Iโve love to see if you have any tips on how to foolproof it.
A fresh fruit tart is in order! Its spring! Its summer! Bring on the berries!
Key lime pie with a scalloped crust? Iโd win this yearโs office bake-off most certainly.
Some kind of spinach, mushroom, bacon and eggโฆ thingโฆ bakedโฆ maybe even with a crust that you would make with one of these pans! OR in a smaller 4 inch ramekin?? Yumโฆ tell me how to add flavor!!!!!!
Brownie pie! I canโt wait! Iโd love to see a recipe for quiche. I just canโt get it right, which is probably partly because I donโt own the right pan.
Joy. You are not going to believe this, but after 28.6 years of life, I do not yet have a tart pan. Based on statistics herein, it looks like itโs almost my time! Could my time be now? Oh, please say yes, because I am dying to make this delicious pear frangipane tart Iโve had my eye on forever.
Miss Joy, how about this? Red velvet is soOOooOo over. But BLACK velvet โ oh yes. Chocolate + stout = hella yum cupcakes. Bonus points if you can include the champagne somehow too!
I have been madly trying to find/develop a recipe for this breakfast biscuit i had years ago. Basically it is a bacon and egg biscuit but it is all baked together.
Biscuit pastry in the bottom of a king size muffin pan a cracked egg and some Canadian bacon and more biscuit mix on top. Then bakedโฆ.. sooooooo gooood. But I canโt replicate or find it anywhere else. I would love it if you could help.
And I know you love bacon!
Iโm always looking for good veggie recipes.
I have a thing for scalloped edges :-)
I would love to see a crepe cake on here!
Hi Joy,
I think a tart version of the Banofee dessert would be interesting if it could be executed.
Hey Joy!!! i think anything you bake is great and yummy to eatโฆI enjoy being surprised every couple of days with what you postโฆThanks for the chance to winโฆBrightest blessings to you and yoursโฆe*
Have you heard of gypsy tart? Iโd love to see your take on one.
Hey Joy, iโve been craving some kind of lemon or lime tart/pie thing latelyโฆ. lemon curd? key lime pie? something of that kind? Your lemon pudding cake is so awesome I am so in love with it and i think my boyfriend loves it more than he loves meโฆ.turn that into a tar/pie?
kiss kiss
Evrerone seems to be suggesting fresh fruit, so I am going to buck the trend and say one word: butterscotch.
I love your websiteโฆyour writingโฆand all of your recipes! I would love to know what you would do with cranberriesโฆDRIED cranberries, that is. I have been struggling with this one, but would like to come up with something that my whole family would enjoy, so I will now relinquish my struggle to the master (i.e. You)!
Something with yeast. Iโm trying to broaden my baking horizons and I realized that I never bake anything that requires rising. Iโd love to see your take on things so I can have a fun place to start :)
Iโm really in the mood for something citrus-y โฆ something with candied rinds? Mmm โฆ I know you will come through!
I would love a great easy recipe for fancy danish.
I must say, Iโve never baked anything with a tart pan before. Iโve also never baked a tart, so perhaps thatโs why. However! I do always drool over tart recipes, and then think, ALAS, I do not have a tart pan, so I cannot bake this. Hopefully, that will be no longer. If I win, I will attempt to bake every tart, ever. Truth.
my summer fruits are just starting to grow in, so i would love a recipe with peaches or plums!
mmm, that top of this tart is the best!
Oh I looked at this beautiful picture of a strawberry sunburst tart in my cookbook that I have all about berry desserts and thought oh how I wish I could make you. Oh how I wish I had a beautiful scalloped edge pan to make it just like the picture. hmmmm strawberries! Yummy!
How about something summery using ingredients that are in season? I need some summer inspiration :)
I would love if you made stuffed french toast. I have tried it a few times, but I just canโt seem to get it just right.
Iโve been dreaming about inventing a coconut milk avocado cream pieโฆ mmmm.. coconut milk pastry cream!
Oh, please pick me! Iโm going to graduate school and I might not have an oven for a whole year, much less a definite roof over my head; my plan for dealing with it includes baking up a storm while I still have one. And a pan like this would be so lovely to have :-) TFS!
Hmm, something with blackberries. A good blackberry struesely muffin.
Cute! I want to see white chocolate macadamia cookies. yum!
How โbout baking a fruit pizza, Joy? You can make a sugar cookie crust, bake it, and then spread cream cheese on it. Then you can top it with sliced fruit like strawberries, kiwis, pineapple rings, coconut, etc. Sounds yummy and fruitilicious to me!! :)
something with rhubarb!!!
Gooey Butter Cake. Trust me. It will change your life.
Something with berries. It is berry season and it is all I can think of. I just made blueberry muffins and already I want something more.
I would love to see you post a strawberry shortcake recipe. Tis the season!
i have always loved a fresh mango tart; shortcrust with a layer of sponge cake topped with cream layered with tart slices of mango!
How about an interestingly spiced rhubarb galette, maybe with grains of paradise. Though if you donโt have rhubarb in your neck of the woods, switch out the fruit.
Once upon a time there was an eclair and a girl. The girl really, really liked eclairs, so she decided to make some choux pastry and cook some eclairs. But the inscrutable god of the kitchen decided it wasnโt the time or the case, so the end result wasโฆ kinda questionable?
Fin.
Ps: eclairs or variations on the theme โchoux pastryโ :) ?
i can hardly wrap my head around the idea of inspiring someone who inspires me so much to constantly put my culinary skills to the test.
lately iโve been obsessed with all things bite sized, as i find them to always be a hit in any social situation and virtually guilt free when i decide to indulge in one (or 10) at a time. not to mention theyโre always so darn cute. :)
perhaps simple Petit Fours, bite sized pie bars (key lime, lemon, pumpkin), or those italian tri-color cookies that i love so much?
my husband loves chicken pot pie, so iโm always looking for a healthier version than most recipes out there. any ideas??
I was browsing recipes earlier tonight looking for inspiration in a bar cookie. I decided to try โMillionaireโs Shortbread Bars Recipeโ The Recipe can be found at https://www.joyofbaking.com/Millionaire%27sShorbreadBars.html. Now, if I did those in a tart pan that would be great.
A springy savory pie!
Something with basil, chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and ricotta!
I want to see something with either lemon, lime, or almonds. I keep seeing strawberry almond desserts around blogs lately, and Iโm wondering if I need to dive in and actually try it out in a tart.
I would really like to take advantage of the fruit crop coming up in California and make tarts with shortbread crust and pastry cream! So refreshing and good!
I want some lentil cookies, Joy!
Hmmm, I want to see anything with strawberries. Iโve been buying them like crazy. How about a strawberry coffee cake?
I want to make something with rhubarb and strawberries.. but banana and strawberry cream pie sounds good too!
hmmmmโฆI love baking of all kinds, but one of my favorite things to bake up are yummy chocolate chip cookies, and then I eat them straight out of the oven!
Cool! My recipe suggestion is for pavlova. Weโre moving to New Zealand, and Iโve been told that this is kind of a signature dessert there! My sister-in-law made one for me once and it was to die for :-)
So the other day I had too many fresh pears and too many recipes calling for canned ones. Sooooโฆhow about that? Something sweet using fresh pears that is not fruit salad?
