Pinterest Gratitude & Coffee Naps

Let It Be Sunday

Good morning and goodย gravy! ย It’s time to welcome another Sunday and I suggest we all go play in the sun… or play in the muggy thunderstorms… that’s what I’ll be doing.

This week I’ve eaten equal amounts of donuts and this Marrakesh Carrot Salad. ย Totally balanced diet especially when combined with copious amounts of black coffee and pink wine.

Here is our internet. ย Hopefully interesting and insightful:

โ€ข ย Where would the Kardashians be without Kris Jenner?ย Every time I read about the Kardashians I’m like REALLY!? ย Who are we? ย What are we doing with ourselves? ย And then I link to the Kardashians and I become part of the problem. ย I know. ย I know.

โ€ข ย “Pinterestโ€™s day begins with a ritual thanking of the universe for its bounty and for how quickly you can turn cashews into a rich, creamy dressing. โ€œGratitude and humility,โ€ she reminds her terrariums.”ย A Day In The Life of Pinterestย ย

โ€ข ย Elaine from Seinfeld helps us better know ourselves.ย  “I’ll go if I don’t have to talk.” ย STORY OF MY LIFE.

โ€ข ย Women dropping polite hints in western art history. Always dropping hints, big and small.

โ€ข ย Let’s all start taking Coffee Naps, pretty muchย immediately.

โ€ข Why All That Instagram Food Porn Is Shot From Above and why we don’t mind eating cold food.

โ€ข ย Bloody Marys taste better in the sky! ย

โ€ข ย Next up on my reading list! ย Lost Cat: a true story of love, desperation, and GPS technology. ย Go on and judge me if you must.

โ€ข ย This is how I feel about drinking coffee every morning.

Enjoy this beautiful day! ย I think you’re wonderful.

  4. I absolutely love your “Let it be Sunday” link roundup. Even when I click on a Kardashian link and help contribute to the problem.

  5. just have to say: I love that you love pink wine. and that that’s what you call it, because that is also my chosen beverage and chosen appellation.

  6. Dear Joy, I do not usually comment on posts but I have to tell you that your Sunday posts make my Sunday! On a day that is filled with test correcting and lesson planning (I’m a teacher and grad student) I always make sure to leave some time to browse through your recommendations (with coffee, of course). THANK YOU for making my Sundays a bit more joyful. Love, Talรญa Gonzรกlez, NY, NY PS If you ever need a NY tour guide or a Spanish translator, I’m your girl!

  9. Pinterest love it, I just might get the book about Lost Cat, a fear I have with my golden Punkin. Have a good Sunday and week. Paulette
